    We arrived March 14, 2025 and paid 384.30, 439.25 with taxes and fees.

    Do not waste your money here, the owner seems petty and inconsiderate and disrespectful when he talks to you, he allows you to stay even with pets for a fee, if you don't have enough for your animals and have to leave them in your vehicle, taking care of them still of course, will then will proceed to call animal control on you, and the rooms are not worth almost $60 a night or almost $500 a week. The rooms are kept clean very well by the maintenance and other cleaners, but if your room is cleaned by the owner and his family be prepared for a filthy room, toilets don't work right/won't flush correctly almost over flows, bathtub leaks/won't turn off all the way, the doors won't open and close easily and there are bugs in the rooms/cockroaches. You will end up wanting your money back, I would like a full refund for compensation due to and unfriendly and terrible stay.

    This place is a joke. It claims to be a non-smoking hotel, but everything in the room was covered in cigarette burns. The sheets, furniture, bedding, and even the bathtub were burned. I had to ask for all new sheets the moment I walked in.

    Then came the real nightmare. Roaches were crawling out from behind the painting where the headboard is. This place is filthy and infested. The whole building is run down, the doors look like they have been kicked in multiple times, and the door frames are bent like someone has broken into the rooms before.

    When I told the front desk about the roaches, the guy did not even seem surprised. He just asked for my room keys when I requested a refund, like this happens all the time. That tells you everything you need to know about this dump.

    This is one of the nastiest hotels I have ever stayed at. It is dirty, falling apart, and clearly not taken care of. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place should be shut down.

    I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    Dear ***** ******,I appreciate your response and the offer of three free nights; however, I must respectfully decline, as I do not plan to return to Virginia for many years. Given this, a future stay would not be of any use to me.Would there be an option to receive bonus points instead? If that is not possible, I will need to wait for a response from the other hotel to determine if they can help offset my bill from $1,000 to the $500 I originally intended to spend.Please let me know if there are any alternative resolutions available.Best,******* *******

    On December 15, 2023, my wife and I purchased a room at the Super 8 motel in Christiansburg, VA. The room was so disgusting and nasty, we left after being there less than one hour. On our way to the car, we saw the manager outside our door, arguing with another guest. He noticed us, and asked what was wrong. I explained the rooms condition to him, and he said we got the room we did, because I requested smoking.
