      Shelor motor mile service department is a joke. Just bought a 2020 escape from them. I haven’t put 3000 miles on it and already gettin the run around from them and charges I shouldn’t be gettin from them. And then when I try to call a manger and talk to them they won’t to get a attitude with me and then told me they was goin to charge me $100 just for me to talk to them. Who do they think they are. If I was you i wouldn’t take my **** bicycle to them anymore. There nothin but liers and crooks takin peoples money. I’ve done bought three vehicles from them and after buyin this new vehicle I wouldn’t buy anything else from them. I wouldn’t give them one star. They don’t deserve any. And I will be talkin to tha Beter Buisness Buro about them you can believe that. All they are is crooks and you won’t catch me ever goin back there again. And I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with tha ********. I talked to two different mangers and both of them was nothin but rude to me and did nothin but lie to me. That’s not how a business should be operated. I think both the service mangers need to be fired and replaced immediately. And now I’m having more problems with the vehicle. I’ve had it not even two months and it has done had 5 codes pop up on it that they claim is nothin wrong with it. They sold me a lemon so everyone watch out and don’t buy anything from those liers. They put you in a hole that you can not get out of. The only reason I’m leaving one star is because I can’t leave any. They don’t deserve a star.

      I purchased a 2018 chevy cruz on 5-13-2023 from R* . Sticker price was 23,230.56. After getting the vehicle home I checked a few things about its value and it was supposed to be booking for around $12,000 I also found an open transmission recall that had not been marked as resolved.
      I decided to return the vehicle to see if I could return it and not loose much money. My parents took it back 2 months later to get an offer on it and were given the copy of a check for $10,000 if I decided to take the deal. I guess the car DEPRECIATED $13.000 in two months. M* told my parents at the welcome center that if I traded another car in too they could up the offer to $11,000.
      I am totally dissatisfied with the deal. This was the first car I purchased on my own and was not a good experience. No one showed me a NADA value, carfax or recall notice . I feel very taken advantage of.

      We have spoken with this customer and resolved her concerns. The purchase price of this vehicle was $20,989, the 23k figure was after taxes and fees like DMV and registration. AutoCheck history reports are available on Shelor.com for all used vehicles. There were no open recalls at the time of purchase, and no open recalls on July 31st. The dealership bought the vehicle from the customer for $18,500 and completed the paperwork on August 5th. We are glad we were able to assist this customer and look forward to helping in the future.

      They’re service manager told me I would have to pay 700 dollars for a tow of my vehicle and had to get my financial institution involved and they made an inquiry about the cost and some how went from 700 to 70 dollars

      Was not told about diagnostic fees when I made the appointment. I had already dropped the vehicle off and then was called and told about the fees.

      I am disguised with the service that I currently received at the service center. I purchased a vehicle 6 months ago from Shelor and was experiencing problems to the point that it had to be towed to Christiansburg from Rke. I called and spoke to Kristen and questioned the cost of the tow and was given a quote of $190 and was informed that the tow would only cover $175 which left a difference of $15- which is no big deal. Instead of having my car towed by my car insurance I figured it would be wise to have Shelor do it...... NEVER AGAIN!! I ended up paying $188 for my tow because it was not covered. When I questioned why I was told it would be covered I was informed that I was told that it was not covered and that all converstations were recorded. I told David, the sales advisor that I know what I was told and he then he told me he was going to have to call me back. I waited an hour for him to call me and I ended up leaving work to go handle the tow bill for my car and service fees. When I arrived Corey informed me that the calls were not recorded and could not explain why I was told they were and that there was nothing they could do about the tow. I am highly disappointed that I was lied to numerous times. Also, I feel a little discriminated based on the service that I received. I was clearly overcharged and lied to about the cost and then I overheard other customers complaining about the same issue and they were told not to worry that it would be taken care of. I also witnessed another lady not get 1 but 2 free car washes. I did not receive a coupon for me. I have referred numerous ppl to Daniel to buy cars which they have and I will no longer refer ppl to Shelor. It is sickening that such a large company lies and Corey, the Ford Service Advisor could not give me answers except for clearing up that they could not listen to the calls because they are not recorded like David told me.

      We brought our car to Shelor 3 different times to have the brakes fixed. The first time, they charged us a diagnostic fee of $105. We paid it and after spending $2069, they said the brakes were fixed. A few days later, we noticed the brakes were not fixed correctly, so we took it back. They forgot to clamp a hose off where the brake fluid goes and all the brake fluid had ran out. They fixed this without charge ) after we drove it back 30 minutes without hardly any brakes). This is the 3rd time we had to return my car because my brakes were not working properly. This time, they found a whole new issue and are charging us another diagnostic fee and this time it is $210! If they had test drive my vehicle the last time, I wouldn’t have to pay another diagnostic fee because they would know that the brakes were not fixed properly. These people are very unfair. Do not trust them to do your repairs!

      After reviewing the service history a Service Manager contacted the customer. There were two separate service issues and a diagnostic fee was charged for each issue. As a goodwill gesture, one of the diagnostic charges was refunded to the customer. We apologize for any misunderstanding or lack of communication.
