We had this paving company pave the bottom portion of our driveway on June 14, 2024. During the initial paving they knocked down a power line which left a mark in the driveway. They also were not able to do the very bottom of the driveway properly with the right machines because of the down live power line. They told us they had no problem coming back to make it right. We took their word on it and went ahead and paid them 8600.00. We constantly texted and called them about making it right. They kept saying they would fit us in. Finally after numerous attempts of co reacting **** and Jay they finally came up and said they could repair it but it wouldn’t look right then they left. After much consideration we told them we wanted them to come and do it. We waited for months before they even bothered to really respond to us but they finally came up and did a very poor job. It is still not fixed properly. Once again we have tried to contact them by telephone and text messages and have not gotten a response. We can see they read our text messages but completely ignored responding back. It had been almost a year now since it was done and we are still waiting for a resolution. All we want is that it is fixed properljBusiness Response

We have attempted to satisfy the customer by repairing the small issue with the power line mark in the asphalt (approx 1 ft x1 inch) and the corner of the entrance that was probably broken by a plow truck.. However we will reach out again and attempt to fix the issues to satisfy them..Customer Answer

Jennelle paving has visited the site and determined that there is nothing that can or should be repaired… there is a slight discoloration approx 3 inches by 2 feet where the power company dropped the line… we can apply some sealer on the area to match the asphalt… other than that there is nothing that can or needs to be addressed on this job…. To be more clear I have pictures… this was a driveway that was pave by another company and we installed a 10ft wide section from the existing parking pad to the main road.. thanks for your help in resolving this matter.Customer Answer

On July 1, 2025 one of the employees of Jennelle's Paving stopped by my house and offered to seal my driveway. After some negotiations we agreed to $800.00. He said the seal should last for 6 to 7 years. When the job was almost complete, he told me the guarantee was only for one year.
After the sealant was dry, it was very evident that the coverage was not adequate. There are places that were not covered. Some places are thinly covered. Apparently the sealant was not properly mixed because coverage is not even. When a car drives on it now which is 29 days later it still leaves imprints on it. There were no precautions taken to cover the adjoining concrete. I asked about it and one of the men said it was only overspray and would quickly come off but it has not as this date.
I have contacted the company by telephone. The first time at 9:26 AM on July 17th a man by the name of *** said it would look into the situation and let me know. He has not contacted me! I have called three more times. No one answered the calls and I left a message each time. This tells me they are liars and do not care what the public thinks of their work. The Bible teaches that all liars have their place in ****. All they wanted was the money!
People driving by my property have asked who did the job. It is absolutely an eye sore. I try very hard to keep my property looking good. I am a senior citizen with limited income and cannot afford to have someone else come in and redo the job. Neither do I believe I should have to pay someone else to correct this problem.
If people are interested in Jennelle's work, they should first come and look at this mess!!!!!Business Response

We completed the shared driveway for *** ******* in 2020 he was happy with the job and paid…we returned in 2022 to pave the neighbors side of the shared drive.. the job was completed and the neighbor paid. We don’t leave a newly paved driveway with cracks across the driveway… We are a company that has been providing quality driveways and parking lots for 28 years. We complete approx 200 to 250 jobs per year. Apprently there was some tension with ** ******* verbally attacking our employees because we were paving the neighbors driveway…which is a shared drive…. With all that being said, what does ******* want?Customer Answer

In response to this complaint, we are trying to understand what it is that the customer might want, what is his end goal. We service anywhere from 200 to 260 cusomers per paving season… if you look at our website you will see we provide quality jobs for our commercial and residential customers. In the photo that was given to the bbb we have not paved the neighbors driveway yet. I think the real issue this man has is 1. With the new neighbor 2. We did work till dark like we sometimes have to do in order to complete a project. This man harassed my employee upon arrival to the neighbors “shared drive” again they share this driveway… if people look at our work they will see we provid quality and service… having said all that , we are still trying to figure out what it is that this man wants from us? His driveway was completed, he and his wife were completely satisfied with the job and paid for the job…Customer Answer

We were happy when Jennell originally paved our drive. When Jennell came back to pave our neighbors drive they did trespass onto my recently sealed drive and damaged it.I told Jennell to come and repair and seal my drive. He came and.looked at my driveway and told me he would get back with me but he does not want to take responsibility. I have a written estimate of 750.00.My neighbor saw them on my driveway at that time and told ******* he was not supposed to be on my driveway with the machine. My neighbors and I are very good friends. He will testify under oath what happened if needed. When l look at his reviews I see very similar reports.I will need $750.00 to have ******* ****** and sealcoating to fix my driveway. When I talked to ******* ******* he.became very.insulting and belligerent. He didn't take any responsibility even though he is the one who did the job. Regards,
