    I took the truck to Precision Glass to have them replace the back glass that had fallen out. We paid them the cost of having a new glass (OEM) put in the truck. I picked the truck up. We then noticed that there was water coming in the truck. Because we park on a hill, we could not tell where the water was entering the vehicle. We paid a company $120 to tell us that the leak was where the rear glass was replaced. I took the truck back to Precision Glass. They told me it was ready and I picked it up. When I got the vehicle home, we realized that there was epoxy across the outside of the back glass and that the trim on the top of both sides of the cab was lifted up. On closer inspection, we realized that they had put epoxy under the trim (the trim is supposed to be held on with pop rivets and retainer clips). I called and made another appointment to bring the truck back since it was not fixed correctly and it looked horrible. I called after they had the truck for a week and they told me it was ready. I asked if they had fixed the trim pieces and the person I spoke to told me he would call me back. He never called me back. I called about a week later and he said the truck had been ready a few days. I asked why they didn't call me and he said his partner said he called. I picked the truck up today. There is still epoxy under the trim on the cab and along the top edge of the frame around the glass. I want them to correctly replace the glass and the two pieces of trim that they messed up. I also want them to pay us for the diagnosis of $120. I want them to give us the money to have it fixed somewhere else as they have had three chances and still have not fixed the truck.

    WE INSTALLED A FACTORY BACK GLASS SLIDER IN HER TRUCK. SHE BROUGHT IT BACK AND SAID IT WAS LEAKING AND POINTED OUT THE CAB CORNER MOULDING WAS LOOSE. WE FOUND THE LEAK SEALED IT ACROSS THE TOP AND ALSO GLUED THE CAB CORNER BACK IN PLACE (WHICH WE DID NOT REMOVE TO INSTALL BACK GLASS). SHE    THEN SHOWED ME A BILL WHERE SHE PAID SOMEONE TO TELL HER THE BACK GLASS WAS LEAKING. WE GUARANTEE NOT TO LEAK AND IF IT DOES TO LET US KNOW, WE TELL THE CUSTOMER THAT WHEN THEY PICK UP THE VEHICLE. I TOLD HER I WOULD NOT REIMBERSE HER FOR THAT BECAUSE SHE SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT IT BACL TO US FIRST. SHE WAS UPSET ABOUT THAT AND WE WOULD HEAR FROM HER LATER. AFTER SHE TOOK TRUCK HOME CALLED BACK LATER AND SAID SHE DID NOT LOOK AT THE WAY IT LOOKED AFTER WE SEALED IT. SO SHE BOUGHT THE TRUCK BACK AND WE RESET THE BACK GLASS AGAIN AND THE CORNER MOULDING WAS STILL GLUED IN PLACE. SHE PICKED UP THE TRUCK AND NEVER SAID ANYTHING TO US ABOUT THE APPEARANCE. THOSE MAGNIFIED PICTURES TERRIBLE TO TRY TO JUDGE BY.

    I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    The company has declined to address or resolve the issue. As shown in the attached photos, adhesive residue is still present on the vehicle. Furthermore, their claim that the molding was originally glued down is inaccurate. The molding was secured using clips, not adhesive. Given the circumstances, I am requesting that the company reimburse us so we can have the necessary repairs completed by another service provider. I did not point out the issues during the most recent pickup because, during drop-off, I had already brought them to the company's attention, and they did not follow through with the specific requests I made at that time.
