    I have a special needs son who requires frequent trips to either ER, Surgeries or his doctors' visits. Due to his anxiety, we have to give him valium prescribed by his pediatrician/surgeons and side effects of valium is drowiness which makes him sleepy. Any time we either go to the ER, or his doctor's office, we give him valium and he generally lays down in the back seat. Hence, due to the frequency of this nature, we get dinged for HOV violation. I tried to explain there were THREE people, but my son was laying down in the back seat. This has happened once too many times and am not sure what else I can do. I will be writing to my State Representative.

    Due to a failure of an E-A Pass VA tranponder, we paid twice the amount for tolls during a recent week-long trip. The rental cars (one to our destination, a different one back) were both registered with EZP-VA. When it was clear that our transponder was not registering tolls, I called and was told that it could take up to 48 hours or more for them to show up on my account so I was not too concerned. They never did show up. I was also told that we would be reimbursed for the extra charges. Turns out that this is not a company policy. Between the $5/day charges from the rental company (******), we paid full freight for every missed toll, and I estimate we paid twice as much as we should have. EZP-VA said they would not call ****** to work out the issue, but I could call each of the interstate toll agencies to work out paying the tolls. By then it was too late. This all comes down to a dead transponder--their equipment-- something that certainly must happen from time to time. I am so disappointed that EZP-VA will not take responsibility for this, and I see no reason to continue being a customer. This is poor customer service and poor corporate policy.

    One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Customer service is a joke if that is what you would even call it. How is this company able to practice shady business like they do, and BBB allows them to get away with it. My account has funds and transponder was mounted and yet somehow the transponder reader missed it and instead of charging my account that had funds they send it to a dam collections agency not to mention there was no communication to me directly stating that this was taking place. interesting enough they claimed my transponder is not mounted appropriately which was weird because less than 30 min later it was read and charged on the same road lol. They refuse to acknowledge that even with evidence pulled from my transaction history provided by Ezpass.

    Horrible company. Greedy extortionists. Worst company ever, terrible customer service, money grubbing
