I took my motorcycle to them on the 9th of May to get a diagnostic done on why it was burning oil so fast. On the 27th I was informed that there was a noise coming from the front of the motorcycle. the 6th of Jun I was informed again they were starting to take the motorcycle apart. Once this was done I went to the shop and they showed me what they believed was going on. Later I received and estimate for $7500 which would have included high performance parts. I inform them I did need that and just wanted the bike to run and not give me any more issues. They then gave me a quote of $4800 to repair it or $3300 to just put it back together as was. I submitted a claim thru ************** services for $4610 all of which I was approved for, but when I received my notice from Snap it was only for $3000 which left me coming out of pocket for &1800. I applied for a extended service plan and gave that insurance to the shop. This was denied. So moving forward I contacted the today 23 Jun to inform them I was coming to pay and get the bike repaired for the $4800. They told me they was going to call me back because they had to look over some other items. When they called back the price for repairs had now been raised to $7800. I inform them to just put my motorcycle back together like it was and they said out of good concousiousness they both agreed that they could not do that and kept refusing to do so. I informed them I was coming to get the motorcycle and parts that they removed as well. Once I arrived I was informed the price would now be $1500 to get the motorcycle in parts. So I applied for snap again to pay the bill and it seemed as if it was another issue since I was not going to pay them out of pocket and they told me that I they would do the invoice for snap later causing me to leave without the motorcycle. Their business practice has been very unprofessional and down right unacceptable. I looking to have my motorcycle repaired at their expense by a shop of my choosing

CUSTOMER BROUGHT BIKE TO US AS STATED BY CUSTOMER, WE FOUND ALL OF THE ISSUES THAT WERE CAUSING EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION. DAMAGED CAMS, LIFTER, OIL PUMP, PISTONS, CYLINDERS AND CRANKSHAFT AND WE HAVE PICS OF EVERYTHING. THE MOTOR NEEDED A TOTAL OVERHAUL. THE CUSTOMER CAME IN AND WAS SHOWN  ALL OF THE DAMAGED PARTS, WE WROTE  AN ESTIMATE PER HIS REQUEST FOR SOME PERFORMANCE UPGRADES WHILE REBUILDING. THE COST OF THAT WAS TOO MUCH. HE ASKED US TO REASSEMBLE THE TOTALED MOTOR. I TOLD HIM WE WOULD NOT REASSEMBLE A TOTALLY DAMAGED MOTOR. HE ASKED IF THERE WAS A CHEAPER OPTION TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD. WE WROTE ANOTHER ESTIMATE, OVERLOOKING THE CRANK BUT WE COULD NOT WARRANTY ANY WORK THAT WAS DONE WITH A DAMAGED CRANK. HE THEN RECEIVED SNAP FINANCE TO PAY FOR THAT. THEY DID NOT COVER THE FULL AMOUNT SO CUSTOMER REJECTED THE SNAP CONTRACT AND SNAP FINANCE PULLED FUNDING. CUSTOMER THEN OPENED AN ENGINE WARRANTY AND HAD US TRY TO PROCESS IT THROUGH THE WARRANTY. THEY DENIED THE CLAIM BECAUSE THE WARRANTY CONTRACT WAS OPENED ON JUNE 12TH AND WE WERE LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE SINCE THE END OF MAY. THIS IS FRAUD. WE TOLD THE CUSTOMER AT THIS POINT WE DIDNT FEEL COMFORTABLE NOT TOTALLY REPAIRING THE MOTOR AND COULD NOT CONSCIOUSLY SHORT CUT THE REPAIR AND STAND BEHIND OUR WORK. CUSTOMER STATED HE COULDNT AFFORD THAT AND HE WOULD JUST COME PICK IT UP. WHICH IS TOTALLY FINE WITH US. WE BOXED ALL OF HIS ENGINE PARTS UP AND HAD THEM WAITING. WE INFORMED HIM OF THE $1500 BILL FOR OUTSTANDING WORK AND ESTIMATE FEES WE HAD PERFORMED. WE HAD TO PROCESS AN ADDITIONAL CLAIM WITH SNAP FINANCE FOR THE $1500 AND AWAIT APPROVAL. WHEN CUSTOMER PICKED MOTORCYCLE AND PARTS, WE WERE UNAWARE OF ANY ISSUES, ASSISTED IN LOADING OF BIKE AND PARTS INTO VEHICLE. WE WERE VERY THOROUGH IN COMMUNICATION, SUPPLIED THE CUSTOMER WITH 3 DIFFERENT ESTIMATES, ATTEMPTED TO PROCESS CLAIMS THROUGH MULTIPLE AVENUES TO GET HIS REPAIR PAID FOR. IM NOT REALLY SURE WHAT MORE WE COULD HAVE DONE

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 23508354, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] They agreed to put the motorcycle together for 3300 without repairs, then when decided to get the repairs completed at the quote they gave of $4842.82  on 6/6/2025. So now on 6/23/2025 they changed the quote to $7800 and now refused to put the bike together. I did agree to the snap financing which I had been approved for $4610, instead of sending a invoice for that snap informed they only requested $2874.42 when asked why didnt they not request for the $4610 they gave some excuse that it was not them but snap. They have had more then ample time to do a for workup on the motorcycle since 5/9/2025 and now to change the quote by $3000 almost a month after the original quote and refusing to put the bike back together after agreeing to do so for $3300 says alot about their business practice. I do plan to take further action.

    Regards,

    Leo Chandler
