    I would like to warn everyone about the terrible treatment I have received at the hands of D&M Heating and Cooling. My air conditioning stopped working three weeks ago, after many calls to companies, I finally got D&M to come and look at it; only could they come the same day but they had a lower call out fee than most. I now understand why. They came out & assessed the fault as a blown control board. I gave the ok on the repair and asked that they order the control board for me. The repair was done two days later and it was great to have ac again, being 5 months pregnant in this heat with no ac was not only highly uncomfortable but with a high risk pregnancy, pretty dangerous. The repair was completed on a Wednesday, that Monday my ac went out again, same issue as before, so called them back out, this time they said it was the main breaker (we turned the breakers off due to the outside unit still running and icing) so we called someone else to check and the breaker was fine but the board tested at 40 when it should have been 240, so I called them again, told them the breakers had been checked and the board tested and the board was bad (I would later be told by the owner of D&M that this can happen sometimes the boards go bad out the box) so D&M sent someone else out, nice guy, came up saying yes the board is bad, and that when the next board is installed it would be worth extending the wires so it sits in a different location. He stated that there was moisture in the unit which is why the control board that was replaced probably failed and stated that it appeared the moisture had been in the unit a while. I asked why I was not informed about the moisture and offered solutions to mitigate the problem before a new board was put in and he had no answer. I also asked who is going to pay for the new board as the repair was done by them. I was told he would check, but as it was Friday, I heard nothing all weekend. I still have no air and would like a refund.
