    We purchased a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport brand new in March of 2023 from Apple Ford in Danville VA. By March of 2024, the vehicle had ~28-30k miles on it and the rear tires were extremely worn. We have taken this vehicle to Ford for routine oil changes and tire rotations since we purchased the vehicle.

    At the time in March 2024, the dealer recommended we replace the tires with a new set of a better quality (Ford OEM tires are typically low grade is what we were told). So we bought a set of ** ******** tires from the dealer, and off we go. Now it is February 2025, the vehicle still has had routine services at the same dealer, and the back tires are bald and need replacement. We worked with the dealer and they claimed it was an alignment issue. Even though in October 2024 the report showed excessive wear. Now we have another 25-30k miles on the vehicle, bald rear tires again and the dealer acts like this is normal. We have not had a wreck or hit potholes, we don’t take this vehicle off road. I find this excessive tire wear unacceptable. Even if this type of vehicle goes through tires fast, it should get 50k miles with routine rotation and alignment checks done by the dealer. I would like the dealer to give us a new set of tires or at least two for the back that goes through excessive wear. Very frustrating.

    significantly based on driving conditions, habits, road surfaces and
    alignment issues. Vehicle tire manufacturers do not warranty tires against wear and tear.As a valued customer, we provided you a complimentary
    vehicle inspection to check alignment, suspension, and other systems that might
    contribute to premature tire wear. At that time, we found the vehicle to be out
    of alignment significantly.  Our service
    manager took the time to explain all the factors contributing to wear due to
    out of alignment. If you would like to discuss this matter further or schedule

    I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. In the attached word document I have summarized the conditions of our two sets of tires by service visits made to Apple Ford at regular intervals.  See the word document that outlines wear.  At NO time in the life of this vehicle or as the results of poor tire condition did Apple Ford ever recommend to us that we needed an alignment, except for the last time when we wanted to claim a tire warranty they suggested and did perform one for us. I tried to upload more files to your site, but it would not allow it to go through.

    I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    Stating the same thing as the first response basically.  I tried to upload my full service records but it would not take.  I have attached our initial records here that show both sets of tires did the same thing and as outlined previously, your service department failed to recommend to us an alignment was needed.  Who has a chance when the tires go from Green to Red in such a short duration?
