In early spring of 2022, Carr Masonry was hired by me to construct a house. From the beginning we had very poor communication with this company and sometimes went days, even weeks from hearing back with questions. They hardly showed up to manage the project, during the painting phase, contractors never put down any protection down to protect our expensive floors which caused some damage. They eventually fixed it, but customer service was horrible managing this and should have never happened. I asked for a certain thing done in my driveway and was lied to. I was told it couldn't be done but later found out later it could have been done and now I'm faced with an issue that I was trying to avoid. This house sat vacant with no workers for days and weeks which put us behind on the closing date and then there was a mass rush to get stuff done. The first week moving in, we began having a leak in the shower and have MULTIPLE times to get this fixed. People have showed up to try to fix, but this issue is still occurring. This company has a horrible time with communication and I've tried twice this week and he won't respond because the year is approaching and I feel like they don't want to be responsible to fix it. I've done nothing but be patient but at this point, this is very annoying for a company to do this. This has been an ongoing issue and causing damage to my floor and water is soaking up on the baseboard with a fungus growing now. This has been a nightmare with lack of communication and not having this issue fixed. Other stuff has happen during the first year of construction that I haven't even mentioned but with the lack of communication, it wont get done by them. For a business, they don't have a compassion about customer service and I guess the next thing is the court process since they are stalling getting my leak fixed or communicating with me.

Carr Masonry and Construction try's to do the best we can with serving our customers/clients. In regards to the complaints:1. Not managing the project/communication/timeline: we try to keep up with the projects we have going on by checking in on the projects. For communication, we can not think of when we would not have gotten back to Mr. ************ in a timely manner. We have great subcontractors as well who we keep in contact with us. This house was built when COVID was going on and materials/equipment was an issue getting in on time. If Mr. ************ felt like we were not onsite numerous times, it was because we did not have the materials/items ready to install. On our contract, we had October 3rd for closing and it ended up being October 7th. With COVID slowing down production, we felt that we did a good job on hitting the timeline. As you know, during a build process, there can be delays. 2. Driveway: We need more clarification in regards to the driveway. We are not sure what this means. He received an asphalt driveway but not sure what we may have said for him to think we were lying to him. 3. Shower Door: We have gone to Mr. ************* house numerous times to try to fix the issue that he is explaining. The subtractor who installed the shower door was at the house the week of September 4th (can not remember the exact day) and additional gaskets were installed on the bottom of the door and the hinge side of the door. We were onsite last week (September  20th) to look over the shower door. When turning on shower and running it, there was no water leaking. A shower door is not completely water proof (around the hinges, etc). When taking a shower, there can be small bits of water that come out of the shower and onto the floor if someone is not careful. Carr Masonry and Construction feels they have tried to resolve the issues with Mr. ************ and are wanting to help solve the problems if he feels there are still issues.
