********************** Heating replaced an upstairs heat pump in June and we paid over $5,000 for unit. The unit started to leak in the attic, and an overflow valve was never installed, (even though it was in the contract that the valve was to be included). The leak ended up destroying a portion of the ceiling where the unit is located. We contacted Mr. ********************** and he said he would pay for the damage that occurred due to the leak and lack of overflow valve, after months of waiting he replaced the unit in the attic and placed an overflow valve. On September 21st, 2022, we sent Mr. ********************** the estimate for the repairs in the amount of $1,200. He stated that was what he anticipated it would cost. He told us that he did not want to run it through his insurance but did not have the cash at this time and asked if we would wait until the end of October. We waited until mid-November and called his office and left a message, but he never has called back. At this point, we still have not heard from him and it seems like he is avoiding us and avoiding giving us the money to fix the damage that he had caused us.We want our $1,200 to be done with this issue. We paid for the heat pump in full and feel he needs to pay for the repairs due to his work.
