    I have been a member of Gold's in good standing for many years. I have not been able to attend this gym due to being out of state for long periods. I woudl have cancelled my membership, but they require I go to the gym where I signed up to cancel. I recently received a notice that my account has been remitted to a collection agency with no explanation as to why, other than I owe some $240.I have to guess my card on file may have expired. They made no attempt to contact me prior to referring the account to a collections agency. I find this entirely unacceptable. I would like the debt cancelled, the collection removed, and my membership terminated. I will pay wat is owed if necessary, but they must terminate my membership, and this must not impact my credit.
