    ON 5/17/22 , MYSELF AND THE COMPANY POWETRAIN & MORE , WITH THE CONTACT PERSON NAMED ABEL, CAME TO A VERBAL AGREEMENT, FOR THE COMPANY TO TAKE POSSESSION OF MY 2002 ****** ******** TRUCK FOR ENGINE REPLACEMENT, AS FOUND ON AN ADVERTISEMENT ON **********. THE ADVERTISED PRICE WAS QUOTED IN THE AD AS 799.00 LABOR COST , PLUS ENGINE COST. I WAS QUOTED 3,809.94 . THAT WAS TO INCLUDE LABOR, ENGINE COST , WITH SUPPLIES AND FLUID, TAXES AND TOWING, FOR THE TOTAL. WITH THE AGREEMENT, A CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON ARRIVED AHEAD OF THE TOW, AND COLLECTED A DEPOSIT, DETERMINED BY ABEL @ 2,800.00 , WITH MY KEYS AND THE VEHICLE. I GAVE MONEY, KEYS AND VEHICLE TO A EDWIN M*****, WHO SIGNED A PREPARED INVOICE ALONG WITH MYSELF. WE BOTH NOTED THE AS-IS CONDITION OF THE TRUCK FOR LIABILITY SAKE BEFORE THE TOW. HE ASSURED ME OF THE GOOD WORK TO BE DONE AND THE ONE YEAR UNLIMITED MILE WARRANTY. IN GIVING ABEL MY BUSINESS, HE TOLD ME THE TRUCK WOULD BE READY IN 5 TO 7 DAYS. I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH A 10 DAY TIMELINE. WHEN THE TRUCK WAS TO BE PICKED UP , I REQUESTED OF M*****, THAT I GET A PHONE CALL, WHEN THE VEHICLE ARRIVED AT THEIR SHOP IN VIRGINIA FROM MARYLAND. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I HAD TO FOLLOW UP WITH ABEL,AND HE GAVE AN APOLOGY. SINCE THEN , I HAVE NUMEROUS EXCUSES, NO RESPONSE DAYS, UNANSWERED CALLS, AND A LONG THREAD OF TEXT MESSAGES, TO AVOID SPEAKING WITH ME PERSONALLY.ITS BEEN WELL OVER A MONTHS TIME. THEY HAVE MY MONEY, MY TRUCK, AND THE TWO CONTACT ADDRESSES GIVEN WHERE I HAVE SINCE TRIED TO FIND MY TRUCK ,TO NO AVAIL I FEEL SCAMMED . AND I WANT OTHERS TO KNOW. I AM INCLINED TO REACH OUT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE MEDIA. I THOUGHT THAT MAYBE YOU COULD HELP.
