    While pulling a horse trailer up **** a fuel line in our truck broke. We were able to limp in to Heavy Duty Diesel Parts and Repair. They immediately diagnosed the problem (diesel was pouring out of the broken line) but recognized that finding the part was going to be difficult (it's an old truck). Regie said, "I live about a mile from here and have a little pasture at my house. This is going to take a while, let's get your horses up there so they aren't stuck in the trailer." We unhitched the trailer and he hitched it to one of his trucks and we got the horses settled in the pasture while a couple of others called around looking for the part. Regie told us that if we had to get it overnight shipped, we could borrow a truck to get the horses where we were going (80 miles North) and bring it back the next day when we came to pick up our truck. We didn't have to take him up on that incredible offer because he called a buddy who had an old truck like ours. His friend took his fuel lines off of his truck and brought them to us so we could complete the trip. As fate would have it, we blew a tire coming back about 3 miles from exit 200 and Heavy Duty Diesel. We changed to the spare, but the spare didn't look like it could go the 400 miles we had left on the trip. We went back to Heavy Duty - second time in four days! Regie didn't have the right sized tire, but he loaned me his truck so I could go to a tire shop and get a new one mounted on the rim. When I got back they used a floor jack and an impact wrench to get me back on the road again. My wife and I call them our roadside angels!
