      My rental van w/ car trailer and suv loaded were impounded on 2-4-2023@ ****hr. After walking to the tow lot and contacting the company they said they could come out to let me in the vehicle but couldn't release it because they didn't know what to charge. They said they would have somebody call me back in the morning by 9 o'clock to let me know they failed to do so when I contacted them they said they still had not talked to the boss But most likely I wouldn't be able to get it until Monday when he gets in. What should have only been a $225 bill for 1 day turned into $575 because I was forced to wait until 2-6-2023. During that time I had to get a local hotel room for 3 days and was unable to get my medication out of the vehicle. Additionally i was unable to pick up my 2 dogs and service animal from the shelter as I was in the middle of a move. As a retired veteran how this is legal just baffles me.
