I was contacted by this company wanting to buy a piece of property I own. I got an offer of $25,000 for 27 acres of land assessed at $110,000. I called the number and spoke to a ***** that said she would pass the info to the buyer. **** called me a couple of days later and was very nice. I asked him where he got his offer from and he said something about it was just a mailer and the said he could pay $180,000 for my property. I asked him why didn’t they offer that to begin with. He said something about the offer being computer generated. I told him he was a crook preying on older people who were not educated on the market and he should be ashamed of himself. I asked him how he would feel if I had stole a piece of property from his dad and he would not answer. I know what he is doing is leave but it is still wrong. I suggested that he get a real job and quit preying on people

Hello ****!I'm sorry you feel this way, if we feel like someone is too elderly to make a wise decision about the sale of their property we always loop in a friend or family member (this was clearly not the case for you). The whole reason we are in business is to help other people and give money away, you can read it on almost all our marketing material, this year so far we have given away more than $40k to charity. We take pride in providing a valuable service to land owners, if you ever find a situation where you feel like we have taken advantage of someone, we want to know and we will correct it immediately.Best regards,****

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
      Regards,

**** *******   I got the response that claims the “whole reason we are in business is to help other people and give money away”. If so why send out a low ball offer in the first place. If your goal is to help others and give money away why did u keep the +$360,000 that you have made.  Your goal is to make money and make people believe that you are so kind giving. Your marketing is good sounds good but your actions speak the truth. You should change your tactics if you want to be what you claim to be.
