    On 01/18/2023 I paid $258.49 for 300 rounds (6 boxes) of .30 caliber, M1 Carbine ammunition per Order #******. On 05/09/2023 I fired 27 rounds which resulted in the projectile portion of a cartridge to lodge and obstruct the barrel. 08/04 and 09/2023, via telephone, I advised the seller and manufacturer of the faulty ammo and potential safety hazard concerns I had (next fired round could result in damage to carbine and injury to me). 10/18/2023 in the hope that one faulty round was the case, I fired the remaining ammo from the first box opened and fired 4 rounds from a second box which again resulted in a projectile lodged and obstructing the barrel. An obstructed rifle barrel can result in the next fired round creating a pressure spike that can create a catastrophic malfunction of the firearm. 11/04/2023 I mailed a letter to the seller proposing an exchange of the remaining unfired ammo for ammo manufactured by another company. No response was received from the seller. 02/22/2024 I mailed a second letter with a different resolution proposal. As of 02/26/2024 I have not received any response to communications (email, letter, telephone) sent to the seller and/or manufacturer on the dates of 05/21/2023, 09/02/2023, 09/05/2023, 09/22/2023, 11/04/2023.

    I explained to ****************** that in the Ammunition industry, like many industries, warranty claims are handled by the manufacturer and not the retailer.  Velocity Ammunition did not manufacture the Ammunition, I provided ****************** with the contact information for Precision One the Manufacturer.  I believe Precision One ignored ********************** inquiry and therefore ****************** focused on Velocity.  I am going to refund ****************** as requested, because I do believe ****************** is due some compensation and it's not worth the fight form such a small amount of money.
