I first contact **************** ****** in October 2023 on their ****** phone number and my first question to them was "if they accepted" my insurance - Delta PPO. They said that they do and that they will have me pay the full amount upfront and file a claim on my behalf and I can expect reimbursement from my insurance company through a check in the mail. With this in mind, I proceeded to visit their ****** twice - once on November 29th, 2023 (I paid $334) and then for a dental cleaning on December 22nd, 2023 (paid $113). I just received the *** and the check for my first visit but the amount is $100.80 which is $234 short. While I have not yet received the check yet the reimbursement amount for the second visit is also only $46 instead of the full of close to the full amount of $113.When I enquired about this, I was informed that this is because this doctor is out of network. When I contacted the doctor's ****** about this, I was very rudely told off. They said that since I asked them "if they accepted" instead of "are you in network" they "didn't feel the need to educate me on my coverage" and withheld this information from me. I want to file a billing complain against this ****** for knowingly withholding the network information from me. I am not going to work with this ****** in future but for the past two visits I am out of $300 (234+66) which I would like an explanation for.Another thing that I want to mention for record is that during my two visits a lot of the time was spent by the doctor and their staff on pushing me to purchase Invisalign. Despite my refusal, they continued to tell me about how it can even me financed instead of spending time actually talking about the results of the x-rays that I am paying for. So while I am paying the exorbitant out-of-network amount for the exam and x-ray, they did not even discuss any teeth issues with me and spent the whole time pushing me to purchase Invisalign. Thank You!
