1 starI was specifically looking for a black Dodge Challenger in mint condition. I located one on the Autos Direct website. I took the 2 hour drive to Fredericksburg to see the car. The car appeared to be in good condition so I decided to purchase the car that same evening. I also made sure to test drive the vehicle to be sure it drove smoothly. I decided to purchase the vehicle with financing. I drove the car home with my wife diving in front. She noticed a head light was out. On the way home I noticed the the radio didn't work. I called the dealership the next day to let them know about the issues with the car. I opted for the warranty just in case any issues came up initially. It took a week to schedule the repairs. When I got there and waited for several hours, they only took care of the headlight. I had to ask them to check the radio again. They told me there was nothing they could do. When I protested again it, they said that they would fix it. I never heard from them in regards to fixing it. I call several times but no one was ever available to address the issue. When it came time for the car to be inspected, it failed Maryland inspection with 3 major issues. The worst issue was with the exhaust system. Finding: Mufflers have been cut off. Exhaust is melting the bumper on both sides. Recommend not driving the vehicle until this is corrected. Needs both mufflers and gaskets. Also, there was no engine air filter. Finding: Vehicle has no air filter. It is missing, because of this, the non-replaceable upper air box filter is filthy. Also, someone has added some home made intake tubes that have open holes to unfiltered air, the intake air temperature sensor is falling out, and the *** tube has been cut up and held in with electrical tape. Vehicle needs: upper air box, Air filter, Intake boot, *** tubes. Engine damage possible from driving without air filter. The car was unsafe to drive. They threatened to take it as a voluntary repo. It's a lemon. I will have to sueReview fromTeresa K

1 starI purchased a vehicle from this dealership in March 2024. I asked to see the Carfax, which they brought up on a computer screen, they wouldn't print it off. The vehicle had been in a couple of minor accidents. We directly asked if the airbags were deployed. They said the vehicle was still under the manufacturer's warranty, which had been null and void since it was involved in a collision. Fortunately, I bought an automotive protection plan for $3,000, which would cover the cost of other repairs. They also told me that the extended warranty was transferrable and if I decided I didn't want it, I could cancel it and get my money. They didn't bother to tell me I had 60 days to do it. They also didn't tell me that the extended warranty only included drivetrain and lubricated-related parts, so the electrical that is all screwed up for the collision isn't covered. I, unfortunately, waited until after I purchased the vehicle to have a mechanic look at it, and he said there were more things wrong with it than right. I want to trade it in, but I'll be $12,000 upside down on it. They sold me a vehicle they knew **** good and well had been in an accident and had been put back together haphazardly and with cannibalized parts. I've read the reviews, unfortunately, after the fact. The fact they have a 2.67/5 star rating (at the time of this review) is astonishing. BUYER BEWARE!!!! They absolutely live up to the used car salesman stereotype--dishonest, deceitful, fast-talking predators.Review fromDustin S

1 starThey deserve zero stars but that isnt an option. DO NOT buy a vehicle from Autos Direct of Fredericksburg or any of their partner dealerships. I thought they were good people but after knowing what I know now, they screwed me over BIG time and there was no way of me knowing at the time of purchase as I was presented with a clean Carfax report showing no accidents, etc. I now go to sell my car a year later and was presented a completely different car fax that shows Autos Direct of Fredericksburg purchased my vehicle damaged from an auction and fixed it prior to selling it. Even after asking numerous times at the time of purchase if it was ever in an accident and also being shown a clean Carfax that supported what they said, I was defrauded big time!!! Come to find out the car was in an accident with airbags deployed! This significantly devalues the vehicle, and I should never have paid full price since the car was not in the condition that they sold it in. I worked with *********************** (Sales manager) and *** (salesperson). Do not trust them or anyone else at this dealership and ALWAYS verify the **** prior to purchasing a vehicle from here even if presented with a clean Carfax as I was. They are now dodging my calls. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with unethical people.Review fromClaudia T

I saw a car online I was interested in and called and was approved. I gave my information and was told they would do a soft pull. Minutes later I got an alert from my credit agency that I got a hard credit pull. I spoke with ***** on the phone and somewhere in the conversation we miscommunicated. They offered me 13% APR at 72 mos. We negotiated down to 10% APR for 60 mos. (or so I thought), which I thought was still high with a 700+ credit score. I thought I had agreed to 60 mos. and she believed we agreed to 72 mos. I got there and drove the car and was not happy with it at all. I went back inside, talked with ***** and told her that I am walking away from the deal. I was no longer interested in the vehicle. They tried gard to comvince me to take the deal and I said no to 10% at 72 mos. That's not what I thought we agreed on. As I walked out, a couple people were angry about the bad deals they got (warranty, issues with the car, etc.) I was warned to run away. An hour or so later, I got another alert from my credit agency about a hard credit pull. I called Autos Direct and told to not run my credit again. I did not authorize it. I would never consider buying a car from them. EVER. Now I know why they call it the "*********************."Autos Direct of Fredericksburg

Be careful here this place is criminal. I bought a 2016 kia ****** over 2 years ago from them. First they charged me thousands of dollars for what they said was a warranty that would last the life of my loan. It was only a 1 year warranty they lied. Then they said this car was never in and accident, but the car has structural damage on the title!!! Please double check everything they say they are the most dishonest dealer I have ever seen and I work with dealers. So if they can get me they can get you please be careful!!!Autos Direct of Fredericksburg

Thank you for the review. We go over the warranty with our customers at time of sale as customers have to sign the document needed for financing. The terms of the warranty is written are on the top of the document and can not be missed easily. Customers are also provided a carfax history and form is signed after reviewing this report. This document was in your file signed. Again thank you for the reviewReview fromCorey J

WORST DEALERSHIP I'VE DEALT WITH. Tried to purchase a 2019 F150 and they sold it from under me after I left a deposit and mailed the check. To show I was serious I even had a family member go to the dealership and test drive/look over the truck for me before I made the 6 hour drive. ******** was very unprofessional and tried charging extra ******** over the sticker price. After we finally worked out an agreement he told me I needed to leave a $2,000 non refundable deposit. After I sent that I went to the bank and got the loan for the rest and insurance on the truck. I mailed the check to them with a tracking number and it arrived on 10/11, on the same day another dealer called me stating they never got the check and they can't sell the truck to me. He states they never got the title (illegal to sell without) so they need to send the truck back to who they bought it off. I questioned this and the guy was unprofessional as well as very rude to my situation. On 10/15 we looked at the carfax to see if there's been any updates and they sold the truck to someone else in VA the same week.HAD I BACKED OUT OF THIS DEAL I WOULD HAVE TO SURRENDER MY $2000 DEPOSIT. Instead they get to s**** me over after I left a deposit, dinged my credit getting approved for a loan, spent time dealing with both insurance and the bank and had a family member spend time going to look it over for me.Autos Direct of Fredericksburg
