    I was charged this amount and put under Duress today. This is a copy of the email I sent to SmartStart. My monthly fee is $88.81 but every month they over charge at $96.13 and there isn't anything I can do about this. I've put up with the fee's and additional charges but after and what they put me thru I have to report this. They "SmartStart" know I have to pay and they take total advantage of this fact. below is the email sent :******** Address: *********************************************** is the service center closest to where I live which is a 55 min drive each direction.I took my car to be serviced on Nov 16th and told the computer was down and a tech from Smart has yet show up. I called back on Monday 11/20 was the **** was all day and still couldn't tell the computer working, I called again on 11/21 and it was the same, also on 11/22, still not working next was Thanksgiving and RPM was closed on 11/24 , called them on 11/25 and system was fixed, so I had to get an unlock code since I was in lock out at this time, This needs to be refunded since this has nothing to do with me and was out of my control. While at the service center this morning 1/25/24 I was informed by a very rude REP for your company named ****, that I HAD to pay another $163.79 in order to have my car serviced today, I was put under ****** and intimidated, not to mention spoken to very rudely and very much as a bully would portray themselves to be. I demand a refund of $163.79 within the next 48hrs or I will take this further up.I paid what the *** said was due $88.81 on JAN 23, and then I'd like to know how you can put me in a position of ****** and force this payment upon me.I'm looking to also have this machine removed and going to take my business else where. I demand this refund posted back to my credit card ending in **** immediately. It's not proper to make someone feel the way I felt today, you can't treat people in this matter. i do plan to file a complaint with the BBB about being put in form of Duress.
