Madison Taylor, a mold remediator failed their scope of work creating property damage they refused to fix. Attached is an independent industrial health report showing details failure points in their remediation and a receipt for additional damage. We have repeatedly asked the owner **** ******************** for evidence of the work performed - it has not been provided. Evidence is required as it was necessary to get insurance clearance. Madison Taylor improperly self certified their work, the same day, providing a letter, but no air or surface samples of work. Its impossible to prove this clearance since it's an industry ( IICRC-520) standard that you cannot test at least ********************************************* a house, you also don't self certify. You are required to leave containment up - none of that was in evidence. During the course of their work, Madison Taylor broke the plumbing system that feeds our water heater. They left a leak in place, they remedied by putting a bucket over a leak. The bucket overflowed causing a catastrophic leak that corrupted and ruined a perfectly working water heater. **** ********************, of Madison Taylor told us to get the leak fixed and that he would pay for it. He has since denied this claim and now says he will only contribute $500 to the leak his team caused that destroyed our property. We brought in an expert to fix the damage at his advice, and his bill was $2020, since the leak corrupted plumbing, water and the heater itself. Mr ******************** accused my wife and I, our insurance companies industrial health scientists ( who agreed when conducting the inspection the water heater needed to be replaced), the master plumber, all of being scam artists, and also calling us stupid for fixing a leak he caused - under those unfortunate circumstances trust is broken and we do not want him to come back. We are filing this claim for a refund at a minimum of the difference in the damage of $1520 back to us as home-owners.

Thank you for detailing our clients concerns.  The client had a significant mold and air quality problem.  We performed a remediation per industry standard.  Post remediation we recommended a follow up inspection at no additional charge to determine if additional remediation would be needed due to the extreme amount of mold discovered and abated during remediation.  The follow up recommendation was made to see if microscopically mold recovered after a recovery period which is standard practice.  The client has not scheduled this follow up inspection.   The client stated that another company tested and found some elevations of molds.  We attempted to schedule a follow up test and or remediation under our initial recommendations, as a customer service and under warranty however the client canceled proper follow up services.   The client had a bad valve that leaked water onto a water heater.  Instead of drying the fairly new water heater he replaced it without proper consult. As a customer service we paid for the replacement of the clients corroded shut off valve. The client has a two year warranty on the remediation and can schedule the recommended follow up remediation services at anytime by contacting our office. These are all services recommended during the process of remediation.  Our office has noted the file and is waiting for the client to call to schedule recommended follow up services. Thank you. We are customer service driven and appreciate these details.

I sent a deposit of $3,260 to Madison Taylor to perform mold remediation on my house. Within 3 hours of sending the money my husband reviewed the documents and realized that the company did not provide enough information for us to be comfortable moving forward. I immediately called and asked for them to cancel the card payment. They said they would not refund our money. When I asked what they would do with the money they said they would perform another service. I asked them to send me information on what service they would provide and they told me that I would need to pay MORE money for any service they would provide - basically saying that there was nothing they would do with the 3.2k they already have. They were vague in the description of what they could do and did not itemize anything. We feel that they are wrongly taking advantage of us.
