  Unprofessional behavior and poor communication not worth the stress We hired Beitzell Fence based on neighborhood referrals and online reviews, but our experience was extremely disappointing.We spent nearly $14,000 on our fence and wouldve paid more for a company that communicates professionally and manages projects responsibly. We later learned Beitzell Fence is not BBB-accredited, and our experience reflects why.The materials took almost three months to arrive, which we were fine with but when the crew came and removed our old fence, we were told (by the crew, not the office) that gate posts were missing. There was no communication from the office beforehand, and we received no plan or update until I personally asked the *******.We were promised a one-day install, which I had communicated to our strict HOA, only to be left with an unfinished, unsecured yard and no timeline. A simple phone call wouldve made a huge difference.The situation escalated when ******* Beitzell cursed at my husband on the phone, making the situation worse. I initially waited to post a review, hoping for a resolution, but after reading more ****** reviews, I found others had similar issues with *******, including poor communication and aggressive responses.After the project was marked complete and fully paid, I noticed missing end caps on the back fence something I brought up during installation but was told was due to terrain. Every other section had caps, so this was clearly a mistake that was ignored. We felt misled and rushed to pay without full completion.While the final product looks fine, the experience was anything but. Poor communication, missing materials, and unprofessional behavior made this an incredibly stressful process. We would never work with Beitzell again and do not recommend them. If we could do it over, wed choose another company even at a higher price for the peace of mind.

  I sought to replace a chain link fence with a wooden picket fence. I informed Beitzell that I wanted the new fence to match a small portion of my old fence that was wood and was in a French Gothic Picket Style. I received an estimate that included a reference to that style. The contract itself made no reference to any style, but I assumed it reflected the estimate the sent me. On the day of installation, I could not see any French Gothic pickets on the truck. But I could not ask about the matter because NEITHER OF THE TWO EMPLOYEES ON THE **** SPOKE ENGLISH. THEY COULD NOT EVEN UNDERSTAND MY REQUEST TO HAVE THE SUPERVISOR CONTACT ME. They installed a different style. Because that style was acceptable, I only asked that they remove my old French Gothic style fence and perhaps replace 20 feet with the new style. They refused. They asserted that they had no duty to install the fence I selected and described in the estimate. For additional work of any kind, they wanted a new contract and additional payment. If you are OK with not having anyone on site who speaks English and letting the contractor decide what style of fence to install, Beitzell Fence may be you best choice. Otherwise... ***, I am a retired lawyer who served in the ********** of ******* for 33 years. This is the only complaint I have ever filed with the Better Business Bureau.

  Wow! This was an experience. My neighbor was having his fence done and a portion splits our two properties. He asked if I wanted to join in and I did. Fence was built and I noticed one of my latches not working properly. I brought this up during my site review with "Patrick". He yelled and admonished me that these were not self-close latches. I've been around a lot of fences and never seen one work this poorly, especially at install. My neighbor also found issues with their quality of work and wood (poor). He had them come fix that. My latch was even worse, the fence wouldn't close. I, the novice, looked at my latch and realized they didn't install the bracket correctly. They did come address that, as you can see. Now the fun part. Even after this, I had left off a 5-foot section behind shrubbery and decided I should've done it. I called them and they had "Patrick" come out. He said nothing about a small job. I had already spent over 4k with them. Trying to get a deal, I mentioned how he yelled at me over the latch. He once again mocked me. In a funny voice saying, "the customer is always right... duh". So, I never heard from them. I called for over a week to follow up. Never hearing from "Patrick". Finally, today after pressing them, they tell me my job is too small even though I already spent 4k with them. Patrick is a spoiled baby. It's obvious he's inherited this company generationally. No way could someone with this poor of people skills ever have built a successful company. He's literally refusing to help a customer that spent 4k with them because he's petty that I was correct about my latch. Stay away unless Patrick is booted from the family business. Despicable person.

  This company is far from professional. A professional company adheres to certain standards, principles and ethics. This company has either. They violate the meaning of these words. They were hired to install a fence more like a construction wall for the neighbor from hell. Yes, like you see on TV. No other company that has pride, dignity and professionalism would ever touch this FUBR project. This section of wall is installed outside our living room window and pathed together with old decrepitated rotten wood panels from his old shed (see pictures) they dismantled for this "special project" of theirs. In doing so, they desecrated our home and neighborhood. By agreeing to this "special project" they demonstrated a lack of pride, dignity, and integrity. This company is all about the all mighty dollar. The proverbial "show me the money" and we will do anything. To make matters worse, they promote them selfies as "family owned" and operated How would their family like it if a company built this despicable wall in front of their home. It proves that what you see is not always what you get. There are a lot more deserving companies to choose from than these phonies. Please review the pictures. You have to see it to believe it. meal
