    We called after discovering some water coming in through the chimneys. Mike came out and inspected everything thoroughly before making repair recommendations. Pricing was reasonable and we opted to get the work done and both days he worked hard to get our chimneys repaired and wood insert functional. I appreciated the knowledge, transparency, and service. We will continue to use Chimney Rescue in the future.

    I had a similar experience to that described in a previous complaint. A representative from Chimney Rescue inspected my chimney, gave me a repair estimate, and made an appointment for the repair. I had to reschedule the appointment and was told when I rescheduled that I would be called the day before with the appointment time. I called when I didn't receive an appointment time and was told someone would be at my house in one hour. No one showed and no one answered the phone just 2 hours after my morning phone call. Subsequent calls that day went unanswered. The greeting on the 2 different phone numbers they have said to leave a message but voice mail is not set up. If they can't honor their appointments, they should at least be honest and say so. They know I have a chimney that leaks water into my house when it rains. After almost a month, I have to try and find another repair service.

    Chimney rescue and I arranged an appointment for a chimney cleaning and inspection on Saturday, December 16 at 10 AM. Owner Mike at chimney rescue did not show up for the appointment and did not call to cancel. I called their business number and his cell phone several times with no answers, and no response to my messages asking when they would arrive, etc. They did answer one day the following week. The lady who answered asked me who I was, then told me to hold on, and then, within a few seconds, hung up the phone on me without saying anything else to me.
    At the lease, they should have called and apologized for their “no call, no show”. I wanted to warn other consumers of this extremely unprofessional behavior.
