    Had a 2012 Jeep Wrangler worked on there. They put a transmission in. Also was supposed to fix oil leaks. Paid and picked up end of November, can't remember exact date. As soon as I get it back I can still smell oil burning off engine where a leak is. I just figured it was from before so went on with my business. Transmission started acting up a few weeks ago as well as went for a second oil change last week. I had to sign a waiver because the oil was so low after I had topped it off just 2 weeks before because could still smell oil burning off a hot engine. So now today the transmission has fully gone out like can't drive no more than couple hundred feet and it acts like it is on neutral. I checked the fluid in transmission and it is way over full. I want something to be on my side when I confront the business about the problems they didn fix and charged me for as well as they calling themselves a transmission shop when all they do is replace it and not attempt to work on them.

    Customer was contacted about issues regarding the 2012 Jeep Wrangler. Invoice #******* on 11/27/2024, Used Transmission with 30 Day Warranty from ****** **** *****. Transmission was paid for by customer on 11/20/2024 for the amount of 3,179.76 and the customer was made aware of the 30 Day Warranty. Customers complaint of oil leak was verified to not be from the engine oil cooler that was replaced on 11/27/2024. Picture and video documentation of Valve Cover leak and Rear Main Seal is verified to be the cause of the leak. Customer compliant of overfill on transmission fluid was verified to be from pump failure in transmission after date of warranty expiration. Transmission pump failure will show fluid to be overfull due to no circulation of fluid through transmission and lines. Customer was given quote of new and used transmission before job was undertaken, and informed of differences in warranty. Customer declined new/remanufactured transmission, decided on used. Towed vehicle under recommendation and payment from Atwell's Automotive on Monday March 24th, 2025 for inspection. Vehicle scanned at TCM to verify codes, P0730, P0732, P0733, P0735, and P2784 which verify internal transmission failure and pump failure. Atwell's Automotive is not responsible for failure in used parts, which the customer was made aware of. Customer contacted on Tuesday March 25th, 2025 to explain cause of failure and cause of engine oil leak.
