    Southern Traditions finished building our new house in July 2020. In February 2021 and several subsequent times I emailed and called ******************* to notify him that we had a leak by a window, as well as several other issues with the house. After ******** attempts to contact him, including sending a certified letter that was not accepted, he finally came out in February of 2022 to discuss the leak and other issues; basically that was our "1 year walk-through". There has been no action since then to address the leak and other issues. We have emailed and left voice messages with no response. We have been in the house now for 2 years and it's been over a year and a half since I first contacted *** about the leak.I would like to have the items on our punch list fixed and have the subcontractor that did the siding fixed the leak.

    My Warranty Manager was supposed to be in contact with ************** several weeks ago.    I should have done a better job of following up to make sure they were in communication.    I spoke with my Warranty Manager yesterday and made sure he reached out to ************** to set up an appointment to get the window leak addressed and drywall repairs completed.   They are set to meet on September 6th.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I received a call from ******, the Service Manager for Southern Traditions.  He stated that he is coming to see the drywall that needs to be repaired.  I informed him that the real problem is the leaking window and that needs to be addressed first and may require removing some of the exterior facade.  Also, there are several other items on the "punch list". We are meeting next Tuesday to go over the list of items to be repaired.   I will wait to see if these are resolved satisfactorily.   I filed the complaint last week because there was no response to our phone calls, emails and mailed letter over the past six months since February 2022  asking for action on these items.

    My warranty manager met with ************** today and reviewed the issues that need to be addressed.   They have set up the date of September 20th to address the window leak, some minor drywall repairs, adjusting the dryer vent, and fixing some loose tiles on the rear patio.
