    A horrible, horrible company. They don't honor written guarantees by their own employees. Told them I was moving next month. The rep says no problem. We will do 2 servicings and then you can call and we will cancel your account with no penalties. He wrote it down on my contact. Now they want me to pay for early termination. You can't call a local office. Only get moronic call centers overseas. Then you get harrasing calls from the call centers even after a local employee says all is good. And, their service isn'tany good.

    If I could give this business negative stars for a review, I would. I hope my review will help someone else avoid wasting their time, money, & energy. The first visit was fine and they did what I asked.For my second visit, I never received any type of notice that the tech was coming. They came and went, never knocked on the door, which is a HUGE problem when I signed up because of an indoor ant problem and wanted interior treatment. I only know for sure they came because they left my gate open and my dog almost got loose. I sent the issues I experienced to the salesman I worked with and received nothing more than a brush off. I called and confirmed my next visit. I rearranged my schedule to be home at the time they gave me so that we could get the interior spray done. Shortly after their arrival window, I received a message saying Id been rescheduled with a new day and time. At this point Ive already rearranged things once to accommodate this appointment, so understandably thats rather frustrating to get cancelled on last minute. I rearranged my schedule once again for this appointment. I was set to get home thirty minutes before the arrival time. I got home to find that they had already come and gone, so once again my interior wasnt treated. How ridiculous that Im paying for this service that isnt even being adequately performed. I sent emails expressing my issues and all I was told was that I could cancel but Id have to pay a $200 cancellation fee. I called corporate and got the same run around. I didnt receive the service I paid for but Im expected to pay for the service AND pay a cancellation fee?I emailed the local office and couldnt get a response other than call us and unfortunately Im busy during their business hours and didnt have another two hours to waste on the phone with them. I finally gave up and paid the cancellation fee because theyre sending it to collections rather than replying to an email to have a discussion about it.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They never answer their phones at the local office, it always goes to the main company. I told them before I signed the contract that they needed to come on Mondays, since it is the only time I am home. They sent me a text on a Saturday saying the technician was at my home! They refuse to finish the initial treatment which should have included an interior treatment. I have called now 10 times trying to get them to come out on the Monday to finish. They keep giving me the run around. They tell me a manager has to approve the Monday since my initial treatment has been done? Still waiting for a callback this morning. Was told at 9:28am the manager will be calling now, but it is now 10:10am and no call. Their communication is a 0 on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the worst. The only reason they told me the manager would call me now is because I told them to cancel. I am now on the 11th call to the company and again the company has to connect me to the local office since they don't answer their phones.

    Ecoshield had plenty of time to make the problem right. I called 12 times within a week, the last four times being on Monday June 9th. I was constantly told the manager at the Richmond office would call me, but he never did. I fired Ecoshield for non communication with clients and for not hearing what the client was saying when the contract was signed. I told the person only Mondays for treatments and I was ignored because the technician came on a Saturday. Because I was not home the interior treatment, which I had paid for, was never done. It was worth the $250 cancellation fee to no longer have to deal with Ecoshield.

    Our family fell victim to EcoShields deceptive practices and the way their service agreement is written, theres little individuals like us can do. Ecoshield deceptively disguised the cancellation fee in consumer contracts as an annual commitment discount. The supposed discount is automatically given to new enrollees and purportedly reduces the cost of the initial service visit from $500 to $350, the filing relays.However, when a consumer wants to cancel their subscription, EcoShield demands they repay the so-called discount. Thats what happened to us. In other words, the Annual Commitment Discount is a sneaky and unauthorized cancellation fee that EcoShield claims must be paid when the subscription is cancelled, But EcoShield shady practices have finally caught up with them in the form of a class action law suit. Hopefully putting a stop to their slimy ways.

    They come out and use fake names of your neighbors and try to get you in this contract that is hard to get out of. They only have a phone number and not other means of contact. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    Not reliable or dependable company. They schedule appointments and then not show up….no call and no show! When trying to cancel the contract (because theyre unreliable) they want to charge you a $281.00 fee even though they are at fault for not honing their own contract. Please help!

    First treatment went well..2nd literally nothing but a few outside cobwebs swept away..employee didnt communicate ANYTHING ans was gone in less than 5 min..had 2 mice in house after 3 months..and NOW worst is i was told i could cancel ANYTIME "all they ask is for me to pay the following months service..now im being informed of an extra ****** cancellation fee..dont be tricked by the ******

    It is unfortunate that sales people from EcoShield Pest Solutions have to deceive and misrepresent the facts in order to make a sale, but that is what happened to me. ***** solicited in my neighborhood which is posted No Soliciting. He misrepresented elements in the contract he had me initial on Thursday, May 23, 2024 and failed to provide a copy of what I had signed for 2 days, leaving me only 1 more day to cancel the contract. The company is closed Saturdays and Sundays, so I was unable to contact customer service for help. I just kept getting useless text messages from the company saying they would review my message shortly and text me a resolution as soon as possible. That never happened. ***** made promises that the contract did not contain. He also stated I had 3 days from the service date to cancel, which is incorrect. The contract states 3 days from the date of signature. He further misrepresented that he would be doing the work. Two other men came Friday, May 24, but did not do all the work as written in the contract, which I did not have at the time of service to verify. That is unacceptable.The plan I chose had 6 services a year. The contract charged me for 7. ***** told me if I cancelled within the year, I would have to repay $150 in discounts. The contract states I'd have to repay $300. Quite a difference.***** also failed to tell me I could have refused automatic billing, which I did not want. I had to send another email and letter to the company to revoke automatic billing.Since I never received the contract in a timely manner and there were so many inconsistencies, I canceled the contract Saturday, May 25 by both email and by letter to Arizona. I will not do business with any company that does not get it right the first time. I also don't like being lied to in order to get me to sign a contract. That is bad business.
