      **** ***** ********* *********** contracted for tree pruning with this company. We asked for the trees to be pruned. They were mature crepe myrtles that were over 30 feet high. We have had the trees pruned several times over the past 30 years where the company came in and cut out overlapping branches and took some links off the branches, but never anything like what this company did. What happened is that the trees were cut off at about 2/3 of their height (leaving approximately six foot tree). That practice is not recommended by the Virginia cooperative extension mor by the National arborist association, yet the company stated that they followed arborist guidelines. We had no idea they going to so drastically cut back the trees and are concerned that it has affected of the lifespan of these mature trees. Our ******** ********** ************ ******** *** ***** has reached out to the company with no response. We are seeking remediation on the bill for lack of satisfaction with the services rendered.
