    I purchased frozen Dim Sum items from Food Service Direct, and became extremely ill after eating the product. They sold me tainted food which contained a food-borne pathogen which caused extreme pain & discomfort which required that I see specialists, had stool samples which were positive for the pathogen, & I developed a serious bacterial infection. I will be undergoing invasive colonoscopies & endoscopy to assess the damage to my body.
    In the past, Food Service Direct delivered similar frozen food which not packed with sufficient dry ice & the food was delivered totally defrosted & required that we discard the many cases they delivered.

    Order came completely thawed. No speed to fix the issue. I am scared they will only offer store credit, which would be a nightmare seeing how I had to throw away **** worth of food I was looking forward too.

    Dear Sir/Madam:
    I am writing to get assistance…
    I have had no luck going through their website and placing phone calls to customer
    service.
    On or about the beginning of July, I ordered Aldens Organic New School Orange Cream
    pops through ******. I indicated that they should be sent to Diane, my sister. I did not know
    that this product would be fulfilled by Food Service Direct. I will be more aware going forward.
    On July 8, a delivery was made to Diane. She received frozen pizza and not the ice
    cream bars. A few phone calls later, I was told that this item (ice cream) was not refundable.
    Really?
    The total for this order was *******. I should not be liable for a product that was
    not what I ordered.
    Food Service Direct has been giving me the run around. I have sent a picture of the box with
    the UPC code stating that enclosed was pizza, not ice cream.
    Please help me with this; I would be most appreciative.

    I ordered a case of ******** ****** hot and spicy polish sausage sandwiches on April 16, 2023, for my husband. I waited over 2 months, and still did not receive the order. I did a live chat on their website, and they said they did receive the product at their warehouse, so they can ship it to me. I asked if that meant I was not going to receive the product. They said yes, they could not fulfill the order at this time. If I didn’t contact them, I would never know. They did not inform me of anything.
    If you want to receive your order, do not get it from this company.

    Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We want you to know that the item you ordered is special order, and it can take up to 6 to 7 weeks to arrive from our suppliers. We do our best to communicate this on our website clearly, and there was an acknowledgment of the lead time you agreed to when placing this order online. "Special ordering this product does not guarantee it will be fulfilled, some orders may be cancelled due to supply chain challenges. By clicking “Confirm” you are acknowledging this lead time."
    I also see an email was sent to you, letting you know this order was cut. I apologize if you did not receive it. While it is always our goal to fulfill 100% of orders 100% of the time there are still issues within the supply chain similar to what you see at the grocery store.

    I've been waiting over a month for a Box of steaks! This is unreal. They said they are waiting for ***** to release the order. I don't understand what the problem is. They said it's a Special order? Well why do you contact food direct to order things if it's not coming from them directly? This is terrible? Is this place for real?

    Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I can certainly understand how frustrating it is to be waiting for your order. Most ***** products are not kept in stock and are notated as special order on our website and include the estimated delivery window. Our website does ask you to confirm acknowledgement on any special order that is being placed. This is to ensure the customers know that their order will take longer to arrive. I can assure you that your order was placed directly with ***** and is expected to arrive at our warehouse around the 20th. As soon as your order arrives to us it will be inspected and shipped out. Tracking information will be sent to the email address on your order as soon as it is available.

    I have had pretty good service from Food Service Direct in the past but this most recent episode has revealed their true colors.
    I ordered 12 dinner plates from them in December, 2022. They arrived with a defect in the glaze that makes them so horrid looking I can't put them on a dinner table. I wish I could post a picture. These plates are truly unsightly.
    I have gone round and round with Melissa in their "customer service" department but they will do absolutely nothing to resolve the problem. I have sent her pictures of the plates but that does not sway them. They say I'm stuck with these plates. End of discussion. It's not their problem.
    I find this company no longer trustworthy and my recommendation is : Don't take a chance with them,. They cannot be trusted to treat their customers fairly.

    I placed my very first order with FoodServiceDirect.com on 12/25/22, for 3 frozen items (egg rolls, chicken gizzards, and bean & cheese burritos). I received multiple email updates over the course of the past 5 days with my order status from both FoodServiceDirect.com and ***. All items arrived today (12/30/22) on my doorstep via **** items were very well packaged. I am very happy with my experience with FoodServiceDirect.com, I will continue to order through them! A+++
