I ordered hood hinges for $148.00 tue tracking email said delivered to my address *** * ******* *** ******** ** ***** I got a sticker in a envelope instead of my car parts. They're right and left hood hinges with the spring attached to them. I did not pay $148.00 for a sticker of a truck. I paid for actual parts.Business Response

We called Mr. ****** on 01/17 and was able to explain the situation to him. The attachment is a screenshot showing the item he ordered was delivered on 01/19 and was handed directly to the customer. As far as we know the situation has been handled and the customer is happy.Customer Answer

I spent $900 on a hydroboost brake system from them, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had issues with install and left messages, NO REPLY. Sent them a message on ****, NO REPLY. Mr. ***** ****** ordered a 67-81 Chevy Camaro/Nova/Firebird ******* Master Cylinder & Hydroboost kit with Proportioning Valve from our **** store on 04/14/2023 and was shipped out the same day with tracking number ************ through *****. I have attached screenshots of the conversation.Mr. ****** contacted us on 11/06/2023 stating his mechanic was having issues setting up the brake unit. Based on his description of the problem we provided a resolution to the issue. He then replied with several messages back to back saying that he was missing an item (the bullet) from the kit and that was the reason it was not working. We replied saying that the bullet is packaged together in a factory sealed package with all the screws necessary to put the kit together and if the mechanic was able to put the kit together then they do have the bullet and we provided a picture for the items as well. He later on replied apologizing stating his mechanic is a moron and didn’t follow the directions and he would not be using him ever again. We told him it was no problem and that we were glad it was taken care of.On 11/13/2023 he messaged asking advice on shaving the bullet down stating that it was to long. We again gave him advice on his predicament and also stated we never dealt with anyone needing it shaven in the thousands of these kits we have sold but if he thought it was necessary he could proceed with what he felt was best. A few more days later he states that his idiot mechanic managed to mess up the proportioning valve and needs information on ordering a new one. So I provide him with the part number and a link to a listing to purchase the item but he ends up ordering the item from ******. He asked if the proportioning valve brand ******* would accept a return on this item and we told him no since the manufacturer was not at fault but the mechanic. We do not hear from Mr. ****** until 12/03/2023 saying his mechanic **** is having issues with the master cylinder and thinks its a faulty part and his mechanic needs guidance. So we provide ******** Technical phone number since they are better equipped with troubleshooting their own part. He later on replies saying his mechanic thinks the issue is with the hydroboost and provides his mechanic phone number for us to give him a call on 12/04 and send three more messages on 12/05 and then decides to put in the complaint on the morning of the 6th not giving us time to reply.We could not reply to the last of his messages the next day because we had several people out sick on the 5th and they help with tech support so no one was able to get the questions answered until today. Up until that point all of his messages were answered the same day, next day or if he sent them over the weekend they were answered Monday. The one time we do not do that is the day he complains about horrible customer service and no replies.Before we sent him the final message, our tech support called his mechanic and talked him through some trouble shooting and they were able to determine what is believed to be the issue. The mechanic was very nice and had no issues with us and seemed to be very level headed about the situation. We sent a final message explaining to ***** why there was no immediate response and that we are not sure why he stated we have horrible customer service when we have been in communication with him for a month. We let him know that we spoke with his mechanic and the issue has been resolved. We asked if he could please remove the complaint but his response was no and that he was going to bash us all over the internet. We do not understand where this is coming from since we have been in continuous correspondence with him and as shown in the messages all the issues were caused due to incorrect assembly.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business did not return calls for 3 business days, we replaced the parts they sold me with new ones and it fixed the problem I was having. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. **** ****** as well as the supervisor for ***** ***** tire who came tontry to help **** as he couldn't get the brakes to bleed. They also had a third person who is the brake specialist at tires plus in ****** ******. All three say the hudroboost is bad.They had a telephone call with *******, manufacturer for the master cylinder and proportioning valve. He took them step by step through troubleshooting the system and he also determined the hydroboost was bad as it is not engaging the Master cylinder when the brakes are pressedBusiness Response

There is no issue with the Hydroboost. Your mechanic has our contact information and we have not heard anything else from him ever since our tech and you mechanic both agreed that it was not a hydroboost issue. We are not going to be providing a replacement due to your several admissions of miss handling of the kit on your part and this being purchased 8 months ago. Other than your mechanic calling us and going through everything again, we can not do anything else for you. Thank youBusiness Response

Sir, you have continued saying that the issue with the brake system is its inability to bleed, which we have said has nothing to do with the hydroboost and everything to do with the master cylinder which you have already admitted to tampering with during our correspondence. We had a conversation with you mechanic awhile back who agreed with us, and we just had a recent conversation with him (once we saw this response) where again he agreed. On top of that your mechanic says he never wrote that letter on that napkin or signed anything like that. I have attached a screenshot of email correspondence between us and your mechanic ****. We have tried to help and explain to you where the issues lies and so has your mechanic but you are refusing to listen to any of us. We are again not going to except a return or provide a refund for this item due to the brake system being purchased back in April 2023 and the items being tampered with.
