Rocktown Realty Customer Service Review -- 10.5.2022
Fair prices, but very poor customer service. There are many other options for off-campus housing.
    - Submitted a work order on 8.17.2022 for a mattress with visible blood stains when moving in. As of today, 10.5.2022, that mattress still has NOT been provided.
    - On 8.18.2022, there was a pipe that burst in the ceiling. The ceiling wasn't fixed until 9.9.2022. The interim solution provided was a bucket in the middle of the room.
    - While fixing the pipe burst in the ceiling, the service technician broke another pipe rendering the kitchen sink unusable. The interim solution was a tape of the kitchen sink with instructions not to use it. That was on a Thursday. The issue was fixed the following Tuesday.
    - $500 charge for rice in the kitchen drain (which was the fault of the tenants, not the owners). We requested negotiating the high cost of the charge to fix the sink due to the lack of customer service. Request denied.
This is my third child in college who has lived off campus, and this is by far my worst experience with a property management company.

    Mike,
I discussed this with the property management team and I wanted to respond to your complaint. I thought you had spoken to Bernard and this was taken care of. We never received a complaint of a bloody mattress. The complaint was that the mattress was flat. We ordered a new mattress but unfortunately we are still seeing delays from suppliers. The mattress was delivered to the condo a couple weeks after it was ordered. The kitchen sink was severely clogged with rice. It took maintenance quite a bit of time to get it unclogged as it was not as simple as just plunging the sink. We agreed to split the maintenance bill with you however the pipe issues were due to the rice in the line. I'm sorry it took a few days to fix however we had to wait to get the correct person in to get this fixed. You were not happy with the price from the vendor that made the repair but that was the cost of the bill that the owner incurred. Again, Rocktown split the cost of the bill and we paid half of this bill for the rice being clogged in the drain. Hopefully your experience will improve with us. Thanks, Julie ******, Broker
