  After our consultation was scheduled, the inspector called the day of the appointment to reschedule. At the consultation, we were relieved to learn it was just going to be minor repairs and happily signed the agreement and were quickly booked for repairs. After the inspector left, we noticed that some lawn furniture had been moved for him to access the roof, but it was not put back when he completed.
  When the crew arrived for the appointment, immediately after being on the roof for less than five minutes, they suddenly wanted to replace the entire roof instead of the few repairs that were needed. We politely declined that additional work, and they never spoke to us again. In fact, they left the worksite leaving tools behind and work unfinished. We went outside to take pictures of the work that was done and found the equipment left hanging in our gutters and wires left hanging from our roof.
  I waited a few hours before calling the office because I wasn’t sure if they were perhaps on lunch break or they were called away and we’re planning to return. Well, they never returned, and I did receive a phone call from the original inspector and he agreed to come out the following morning to check on the work. The next day came, and we again receive notification that he is not available to make it that day and we would need to reschedule. He did come the following day to verify the work completed and to remove the equipment that was left. He reviewed the work that was completed and found that there was work completed that was “not supposed to be done”.
  He apologized and told us that this was “his new crew“. When he reviewed the invoice, there were some additional charges that were not in the original quote for repairs, that we were told may be possible depending on what they found when they removed tiles. However, there was some additional work completed that we were not charged for.
  Overall the experience was completely unprofessional and lacking service.

  We called Valley Roofing when our old metal roof started leaking into an unfloored attic. They came out and gave us an estimate the first week of September and we agreed to the terms. Weeks went by, with us calling repeatedly and being told they were "going to schedule the job." At the very end of September we demanded that they schedule our repair and they finally did so -- for mid October. They saw no problem with letting a roof leak into a space where we couldn't even place a bucket for six full weeks. Today the repairmen finally showed up for the job and Valley Roofing had outsourced the job to another company without informing us. I wish I could give zero stars.
