I was quoted $150 per hour to install a HP printer on my **** computer. on 3/8 Most places told me job could take about an hour. Tech arrived late after 2 "running late" calls. He seemed rather confused (I noticed he did not connect the usb and power cord in the order caution in the set up instructions.' I offered to get the instructions on my phone and/or he could ask HP for help. He declined. At one point he told me he just couldn't find the printer. I saw the page, but at 76, know zip about computers. After almost 2 hrs. he handed me a printer sheet , said all done and left. Already late for a meeting I didn't look at them. Got home in the eve and when I went to print all I got was a jumbled line of letters repeated over and over. It couldn't pull anything from the ****. Left the room and it turned itself on..printing more sheets of garbage over and over. Kept happening (spooky) so I shut down. I called Top Notch and notified them. Told someone would call. They didn't and I was ill and closing my daughter's estate. When I got a bill for 2 hrs.@$155=$310. three calls before someone returned mine. I repeated that tech HAD NOT DONE JOB.(no apology)also told xtra $10 was MILEAGE ( which I had not been told as their office is 3mi. from me). finally sent another tech, gave him, the printouts and he fixed it in an hour! They keep billing me $310, I asked do I pay for 1st guy incomptence? Yes and late chgs every month. I told them it wasn't fair, they could care less. I guess old ladies are fair game! I paid them $175 which I felt more than fair!.. They keep sending the same invoice with late chgs. Here is latest one that does show my payment. very confusing since they use orig date. Now they sent a notice that it will be sent to collections, never had that done in my lifetime. I'd appreciate any help . Thank you, ********************* r
