  I can’t say enough great things about David and Will at Kilo Hollo Energy— this father and son team is absolutely outstanding. From the start, they were detailed, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to designing a high-quality *** solar panel and ***** ********* system tailored to my needs. Unlike the high-pressure door-to-door solar salespeople, David and Will take a consultative approach. There’s no pushiness — just honest guidance to help you get the best system for the best price. Their installation was top-notch. They treated every panel placement with care, ensuring everything was aligned, secure, and aesthetically pleasing. They even went above and beyond by painting the conduit along the side of my house to perfectly match the house color — an extra touch that really speaks to their pride in their work. In my opinion, this is one of the best contractor teams I’ve ever worked with. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and integrity make them a rare find in the solar industry. They have my highest recommendation and a solid 5-star rating.

  We recently contracted with Kilo Hollow Energy to add two additional Tesla Powerwalls to our existing solar system. From start to finish, working with Kilo Hollow Energy was like night and day compared to our previous experiences with another solar company. After signing a contract for 2 additional Tesla Powerwalls with the solar company that originally installed our solar system, and paying the required 50% deposit, we were left empty handed when they suddenly went out of business, taking our deposit with them. Needless to say, we were cautious at best when it came to contracting with another solar company to do the same work.From our very first interaction with Kilo Hollow Energy throughout the entire purchase and installation process, everyone we interacted with was professional, responsive to our needs and concerns, committed to excellence, very knowledgeable, punctual, and diligent in keeping us informed and honoring their commitments to us. In particular, ******* ******, President, worked closely with us throughout the entire process to ensure all of our questions were answered, and expectations were met. In fact, the quality of the workmanship and professionalism of those we interacted with was such that both my husband and I wished we had known about Kilo Hollow Energy when we originally made the decision to purchase a solar system for our residence. As it is, we cant change the past, but moving forward, Kilo Hollow Energy will now be monitoring and performing any necessary repairs on our solar and backup battery systems. And we finally have our 2 additional Tesla Powerwalls:) Both my husband and I feel a huge sense of relief knowing that Kilo Hollow Energy will be there for us and our investment when and if we need them in the ********* is for these reasons that I would highly recommend Kilo Hollow Energy to those who are interested in considering a solar system, or for those who may have found themselves in a similar situation to ours.

  We are late getting this review in, but wanted to make our voice heard. We have been wanting to add solar to our house for a few years. With the announcement of the new government incentives, we jumped into it last year. We received many quotes and had appointments with several companies (some of them never showed up). We selected Kilo Hollow Energy out of ********, ********. We wanted to go with someone who was local. ***************************, the owner, is an exceptional example of someone who cares about his business. He held our hands throughout the process, answered all of our questions,and is very knowledgeable. We replaced our roof prior to the installation. Our roofing company came out after the solar installation and commented that it was the best solar installation he had ever seen. We chose Kilo Hollow Energy and we are very happy with the results.

  We selected Kilo Hollow from Energy Sage based on their detailed, personal and educational approach to this large purchase. We purchased a 40+ panel array with a battery back up. It was spec'd out and installed in a manner that kept our needs, schedule, and aesthetics prioritized. Communications were top notch and the team adjusted as we hit issues and did what was right to get the best result for us.

  We chose KiloHollow for our Sonnen battery installation after interviewing several other solar/battery installers. KiloHollow was the company that actually understood what our system and our home needed to meet our needs. They also install gas generators, but did not divert us from our initial, researched, plan. We have a ground based 20K solar system. KiloHollow, *************************** in the lead, installed our Sonnen+ 20KW battery. Their work was admired by our electrical inspector for its excellence.   Kilo Hollow Solar did an excellent job on our solar installation from start to finish. I recommend them to my neighbors and friends. They worked with us to design the right system for our needs and used the brands/products that we preferred (rather than going with a "one size fits all" system). The project manager and supervisor were on-site every time someone was working on our house. They even came to our home to work out an issue during the first power outage. They are entirely trustworthy and know solar.

  I interviewed 6 solar companies before I talked with ***************************, owner of Kilo Hollow Energy. I was so relieved to finally find someone knowledgable and straightforward to answer my questions and give me a proposal for solar on my home. All the other companies had salespeople who were not knowledgeable, were pushy or offered lower quality equipment and smaller sizing to look like the "low bid". I was making an investment in my home and wanted good quality equipment at a fair price. I also wanted a "good quality process" for the solar installation. With Kilo Hollow Solar I got both! I highly recommend working with Kilo Hollow Energy!

  Kudos to *************************** of Kilo Hollow Energy. ******* patiently answered all of my questions and willingly evaluated multiple scenarios I presented. He helped me understand the full cost, of financing and if going solar was profitable in my particular situation, when that would be, and how that would look. He was honest and forthright, in spite of the fact he might not get a sale. He continued to answer questions and send me information after I decided to wait to go solar. I am so impressed with his helpfulness, that when I decide to go the solar route, I will definitely choose to work with him and his company. He is a man of integrity in this weary world!
