I have had an issue with my water bill going up higher than usual ever since earlier this year. I called County of Henrico numerous times, and they informed me that I had to take various measures to see why my bill is so high. I got my son to go under the house and I did the dye test which was 2 of the things they advised me to. And I called a plumber to come check as well. He told me that it was the Water meter and call County of Henrico to fix it. So, I called them back again and they advised me to take a picture of it, so I did. That's when it went through an Adjustment investigation period. Which was back in February of this year. She also told me to keep paying what I usually pay each due date. So, I did and now they called me to tell me that they have finished the adjustment period, and they fixed the water meter. Also, that I still owe the high bill, and I am past due which I question. How am I passed due when I made the payments, they told me to pay each due date? Also, they will put a lien on my House because I am past due. How can they do that, when I paid them what they advised me to pay. And I also set up payment arrangements for this high bill they say I have to pay. They have not told me why my bill is so high and where it's coming from and when I asked the Manager told me "We are not in your house we can't tell you", really. This is not right at all. Please help me with this matter.
