      Don't ever trust them! They tried to phish my personal information in the name of a job opportunity.

      This person may have contacted our office "in the name of a job opportunity" or been in our contact list because the person put their resume or other information at some point “out there” for a job opportunity. However, anyone on our list that we contact or obtain information about has the opportunity to opt out by return email, or by clicking on our "opt out" link in the email, or to notify us that they wish not to be contacted any longer. At that time, they and their information are completely wiped from our system and their files are properly shredded. The review makes a libelous accusation in that it indicates that we "phish for personal information. . . ." This is untrue and harmful to our reputation, as well as the review portion that indicates "[d]on't ever trust them!" Phishing is a cyber crime and is a criminal act that leverages deceptive emails, among other things, to steal confidential personal information; victims are tricked into giving up personal information such as their credit card data, phone number, mailing address and other information. Most important is that it is a criminal act that we did not commit and there is no allegation that we used the reviewer’s information in any wrongful specific manner. If we obtained his information, it was either provided by the reviewer on a resume or other submission to us, or we obtained the information from third party source for the purposes of consideration of a position. In any event, the reviewer was not hired for any job and the information was then dismissed from our system and files.

      Our corporation does not use any information we obtain for phishing, trickery, or any other fraudulent purpose, other than consideration of employment purposes, as outlined on our website.

      I have checked on ceipal and my team's internal database. We have not reached out to *******************.
      Also, whenever a mail is sent via ceipal, the candidate has the option to unsubscribe. Below is the screenshot of it.
