      Good morning, We wanted your help with possibly helping us to finish our project. It has been a long and painful journey with many hiccups and issues. We wanted a garage extension done. We were referred to ********************** who we did not know him and he was referred to us.************* brought an architect and we had plans made and approved by the Montgomery County on 3/24/23 with Permit Number BUILDING-*******. Then *************** finally started work in May and even though he had initially told us it will take a total of 6 weeks, and only started after repeated requests. Once ************* started the project, it was only stuff done at a snail's pace. He demolished the existing garage back wall and would vanish for days. We would have to call him repeatedly and then he would send some workers to complete the next part. In the midst of it, he stated that construction costs have piled up and now the total project will cost 10k more than the originally decided price (contract attached). As we were now in the middle of the project, we acquiesced and proceeded to his extra money request. The pain continued and after ** ***** crew put a new roof on the garage extension, the roof started to leak the first rain onwards! ********* said it was a problem with the crew. None-the-less, this was unacceptable and we had to use another reputed company to fix the new garage roof. As there was a deck where the garage extension happened, that old deck had to removed. As the Montgomery county inspector came to check on the garage extension project final inspection, he failed it stating that the deck needs to be fixed and addressed. ********* said he can replace the deck along with painting etc (an extra total cost of 31000 USD) and this is where we are stuck now. The new deck has not been even started at. ********* has taken money from me for the deck - **** *** and has simply vanished! I have emailed him repeatedly as well as tried to call him on his cell phone *************) and get no response. We need help and hence requesting you. If ********* can not finish the project, please have him return the USD 9000 he has taken as downpayment for the deck project. Thank you,***
