Last summer my well ran dry and I was told that I needed a new one. WT Moore was highly recommended by my plumber, friends and the the county. I contacted them and was told that it he could do the work but was not available for 8-12 weeks. I faxed him my permit as requested and waited… at the 10 week point I called and they had lost my permit and forgot about my job, it would be between 4 and 8 weeks before he could get back out. He would not return phone calls or messages, When I asked for actual dates, I was told he would call the day before he would arrive.
When he finally arrived 4 months later, he spent a week here, sunk two wells one 600’ and one 900’; he did not find any water; and he left piles of drilling residue all over my property, destroying my front lawn. When I asked for options on how I could get water for my house, he offered none, said he had to go to another job, demanded $27,000.00 (in cash!) and left me with his mess. I have attempted to contact him to discuss, but he doesn’t answer his phone, and his mailbox is always full. He does not do texting or email… please help

The claims that they are making are simply not true. We were there a week trying to accommodate them and the very last contact we had was that they needed some excavating done, witch in the pictures I have provided you can it has not been started. I also took pictures of the “mess” we left… it was the cuttings from the well we drilled. We offered to push that out in the driveway or move the pile for them but was told to leave it there.    Thank you for your time  W. T. Moore

The response from Mr. Moore is inaccurate and totally unacceptable.  He had to rush off to his next customer, and his only recommendation was to drill another well, with no assurance the third site would be any different from his first two failed attempts. He did not offer to clean up his mess, current pictures attached for reference.  He did not address his requirement to get paid, immediately, $27,000.00, in cash!  An unique business practice that I’m sure the IRS would find interesting.  I don’t want to cause him any trouble, I just want him to clean up his mess.

This customers response is simply not true. We where there at the site for a week. When I talked to them I pointed out that they had several dry wells.. also that their neighbors had difficulty getting water. I also suggested fracking the wells… even got in touch with the fracking company myself…they wouldn’t come because they know that area doesn’t have much water. They again chose to move forward with drilling anyway…Then when it came to the second well I called the health department and got the permit myself to try and help these customers out. They also chose to drill as deep as we went… I checked in with them and kept them informed at the different footage.  The allegation that I demanded cash is absurd, WT Moore takes  different forms of payment, in fact, most of our business is by check or money order. I gave the customer an invoice for the work that had been done (the two wells drilled). The customer insisted they go to the bank and get cash (this was not that day.. this was a few days later). The customer said “I want to pay you cash so you will come back and drill another hole for us.” Like I had stated before the customer was supposed to prepare another spot to drill and I haven’t heard from them since. As for the mess they claim we made that is just the well cuttings they  told me to leave there. These customers are in a unfortunate situation with their house, having water issues. WTMoore has tried their absolute best and trying to fix their water situation. Unfortunately, it cost us the same to run our machine whether we hit water or not we still have to use fuel, well casing, and pay for the labor. With the customer untruthful allegations towards us we suggest they find another drilling or fracking company to work with.   Thank you for your time.  WTMoore

I would never consider using this company again!  And I will continue to advise neighbors against their use.  All I wanted is for them to clean up their mess. I was a fool to hire them and that is on me.  Obviously, they are never going to admit any wrongdoing so I will find other ways to find a resolution.  Do I have any other options with the BBB?
