    On 12/7/2022, I paid Hoofbeats Equine $640 for 6 laser treatments to speed up the healing of my horse's leg wound. The veterinarian herself never examined the animal either before, during or after any of the treatments. She sent a vet tech to administer the treatments. 3 laser sessions had been administered and the wound got significantly worse after each one. After the 3rd treatment, I decided not to proceed as the wound was in MUCH worse shape than before any of the treatments. I spoke with the vet and was told that the worsening of the wound was due to me improperly bandaging it, however, to date she has not examined the animal, which severely undercuts her placing the blame on me. I received $320 for the unused laser treatments, however, I would like all of my money back (the remaining $320). As a result of the wound getting worse, the horse had to be transferred to a rehab center, which is costing me thousands of dollars.
