I met Brittany Crafton at my best friends sons wedding in June 2024. She was their wedding photographer. We exchanged information because I was getting married four months later and we needed a photographer. I hired Brittany Crafton to be a photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. She also said she would have a second ********** Her fee was $350.00 with a $175.00 deposit. I paid her the $175.00 deposit on 6/22/2024 and signed the contract on 6/22/2024, after paying her the deposit using Cashapp. I paid her another payment of $87.50 on 8/20/2024. She canceled several dates I had set for the engagement shoot. She would cancel the shoot on the same day and without a phone call. I would only hear from her through text and she never answered the telephone. I expressed concern about her not showing up for our wedding, and she ensured to us she would show up at our wedding. She said if she doesnt show up, she would give me a full refund. On the day of my wedding, on 10/04/2024, she made us think she was coming after 11am, but she never showed up or responded. I text her the next day requesting the full refund since she did not show up. She finally responds on 10/7/24 saying she would refund me when she got paid and asked for my address to send the flash drive with our engagement photos on it. I send her the address and ever since, I have been texting and calling her looking for my refund and the flash drive. She sent ** a $50.00 partial refund on 10/21/24, but that was the last payment she sent me. She lies and says she sent it and I asked her to send me a tracking number. She never sends me the tracking number, the package or the refund after several promises. She texted some of the photos but she took over 200 photos of us and she has not sent all of the photos. She has not sent the lash drive nor has not made any additional refund payments. She owes me $212.50.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/13/2025

    Good evening,

    ID

    ********

I have just now received your email regarding the BBB complaint filed from *****, ******.

I was able to log into that email address just today because I do not use THAT email. In regards to the complaint, I have been making payments to ******, and have been in contact with her since then with an agreed resolution as well as making a payment today 02/12/2025.

The name listed is not my business name, and I also do not run this business anymore due to an injury sustained going to her wedding. In regards to rescheduling dates, she has rescheduled multiple times before hand and crunched my schedule and asked me to move others for her. Ill be happy to provide those messages which is why I keep things over message.

As far as a resolution goes, it is in the works and I do not have a need to seek a resolution through anyone else but the customer at hand.

    Thanks,

    Brittany
