  RUN AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS!! They do NOT have a valid license in ******** under any of the 3+ company names they work under (AEM, **********************, Loudoun County Contractors * maybe other names). ****** *********, ****** ************ **** do nothing but lie and scam people out of their money. Worse, they'll damage your property, costing you more money! I wrote a review while they were still "working" for us. They threatened to stop all work unless I removed the online review. I removed it, still hoping for resolution on project. Their tactics are gaslighting, lies, * threats. Hired them to build a 10x11 portico roof * install 2 patios in July 2022. They took $18,400 from us. After several delays, * numerous excuses about ********************** and even blaming the county- work finally began in Jan 2023. Porch failed inspection FOUR times. They damaged our new home roof, damaged our house siding * caused immeasurable stress. When it became clear that the structure they had partially built was 100% UNSAFE- you could have pushed the porch over with your own body weight * the foundation posts weren't level causing water intrusion to home * soaking the porch structure to the point of molding. We stopped all work until a structurally sound plan could be devised. Had our 3rd meeting with ****, *************** inspector who advised **** * ****** exactly what needed to be done. NONE of the corrections were done-they simply shoved shims between ************* roof to "level" it. We bent over backwards trying to work it out with the company, we gave them numerous chances * a lot of money. We finally hired an attorney * went to court. We won * were awarded actual * treble damages plus attorney fees. Not surprisingly, **** * ****** ran off with our money. Our attorney sent garnishment letters to the company bank, but were informed the total amount in their account was only *********** won't even cover our attorney fees. ******** should stop them! Complete criminals.

  Hired this contractor when we were having our pool built. Gave a deposit of $12,000+ and then cancelled as we no longer wanted to move forward with the contract. Haven’t heard from the company and haven’t received a refund. Not sure what to do at this point. We reached out and have not received any reply from anyone at this business. We were dealing with Nate and he has been non responsive.

  BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR!!!!!
  Had the worst experience with this contractor (POC Nate). Things were going decently well (although there were a few red flags e.g. as soon as we signed the contract, Nate got hurt and stopped responding) for first 30 days or so and then he goes on vacation and there has been literally no movement at all. There were endless excuses related to family emergencies, sickness, false promises on delivery of material, crew showing but no one EVER showed up. Our backyard has 6 holes and we cannot access our own backyard. Please save yourselves some trouble and find someone else who would actually do the work. He probably made money off of us as he took the stones they took off from our existing patio and he said they will reuse it on another project they were doing.
  P.S. Do not want to include any personal details but want to beware other innocent families to know the red flags to watch out for in case they are considering.

  This couldn't be further from the truth. In fact we completely installed the patio for Mr. K*****. We removed all of the debris to the landfill. We do not use old material on new jobs as he accused. Material removal was in the contract to be taken to the landfill. During the patio installation we dug the footers for the deck and roof structure. The county requested a revision for the deck and roof structure. We then returned, dug additional holes and delivered the decking framing material to include concrete for the footer holes. Soon after that was when the complaint occurred. He has also not paid for the patio that has been completed on approximately the end of August. We have been in contact with Mr. K***** and he has not responded to discuss an honest resolution. The permit is still yet to be approved by Loudoun County Building and Development. We have contacted him multiple times therefor we cannot start the build of the deck and room which we explained to the client. Mr. K****, please reach out to us so we can all get on the same patio

  Go somewhere else if you want anything done timely. Carmen is a fast talker and makes promises he can’t keep. He does not own this company, his hired workers call the shots and will show up when they want, if at all. It has taken month’s so do a three day job. No real explanation just lots of excuses and lack of communication. They may do great work, but we may never know because they may never finish. I would not recommend to any, not worth the headache.
