My neighbors and I (five of us) hired Washington Pavements LLC in June 2022 to resurface our pipestem, and several of us hired them to replace our driveways. Since that time, numerous cracks have appears in multiple areas. I have sent several emails and left multiple voicemails asking for them to look at the cracks and determine a potential fix. Thus far my calls have been ignored. When I call Washington Pavements, the calls immediately go to voicemail. They seemed very professional and courteous when we hired them. It is very surprising that they have not returned any of my calls or emails. I notice there are several similar complaints that they have evidently chosen to ignore.

In 2020, Washington Pavements, LLC covered our driveway with asphalt and was paid over $7K. The written contract provides a 5 year warranty. On August 31, 2021 we contacted them to receive our first annual sealing and maintenance check as stated in the contract. On Sept 1, 2021 they returned the call and we informed them that there was a repair needed given there is a significant dip in one area causing a large pool of water when it rains that also freezes over in the winter causing the cars to slide. They said they would get back with us to schedule. After several calls to them over a year, we finally got in touch with the rep, texted pictures to him and on August 8, 2022 received an "Approved" $0 Estimate #***** to "Patch Asphalt" detailed with the work to be performed and one of the pictures we sent included on the document. My husband, a retired *** employee and veteran, signed the document that same day. My husband became ill and passed away 3 months later. On February 28, 2023, I tried contacting Washington Pavements, LLC and no matter the day or time, no answer. I then texted the rep, no response. I called the rep, and he returned my call on March 3, 2023. He told me that the person he needed to schedule the work with was out of town and that he would call me by Tuesday, March 7, 2023 to schedule the work. He did not call. I called him March 7th, March 10th and left messages, and again on April 12, 2023. I still have not received a return call. It has been nearly 3 years trying to get them to honor their contract and warranty, and repair the asphalt that they installed at $0 cost to me as committed in writing.

Don't do business with this company. They are dishonest and totally non-responsive to repeated efforts to seek correction to a failing driveway resurfacing which cost me over $5,000.00 and began to fail well within the warranty period.Do not deal with them or anyone claiming to be related to them. I am contemplating legal action but recognize the futility of the use of valuable time.If a man is not as good as his word, he is not a good man.

On March 14, 2022, I approved Washington Paving LLCs quote for a driveway extension and resurfacing at my home in Fairfax County, **.On March 23, 2022 Washington Paving LLC resurfaced the driveway. Unfortunately, a month later problems developed. There is no issue in areas where Washington Paving LLC resurface existing asphalt. However over areas with typical Virginia clay subsoil the new asphalt surface never stiffened and eventually cracked. Now the clay subsoil has seeped through the cracks and it is a muddy mess. It is clear that Washington Pavements applied insufficient base material and compaction. For several months via email the Washington Paving LLC owner committed to resolving the matter however eventually stopped responding. Washington Pavements LLC has a comprehensive 2-year warranty on their quote which was a factor in my decision to select their proposal over others. I am hopeful it is not a lie and Washington Pavements LLC will resolve the matter this spring 2023.

I had contracted with Washington Pavements LLC to resurface my driveway on July 28, 2022. A few days prior to the scheduled date I noticed that they were going to be removing the old materials they had to cut out for various reasons. I contacted the representative I had been dealing with and asked if those materials could be left on the premises. He told me that the guys would be happy to leave those materials for me. The day the job was completed (7/28/22) I received an invoice for the job with a due date of August 27, 22. The owner of the company immediately started sending me emails demanding to know when I was going to pay. Even though the invoice stated the due date was not until 8/27, I paid the invoice on 7/30/22. When I arrived at home on 7/28 I could not find the materials that should have been left for me. I contacted the owner, and he told be that they would deliver the materials and suggested millings might be more usable than chunks. I let him know that either was acceptable to me and waited patiently for delivery. On 8/16/22, the owner sent me an email implying that the materials would be delivered the following week, which did not happen. Since that time I have sent him 10 emails asking for a projected delivery date, and he has responded to none of my inquires.

      Business Response

The customer requested free materials after the job was done and we were gone. I told him next time I’m in the area I’ll drop some off. I didn’t have any jobs come up in that area and he kept pressuring me to bring materials, but I have no opportunity to for any free deeds. We do not have any written agreement to deliver anything other than what we already have and got paid for
