    I paid Merryn Williams at Merryn Williams Designs to design and paint my wedding invitations. We had a contract that discussed the items in my project that I had paid for. I have not received all of those items (the original painting in particular). We had also discussed a timeline in which she’d complete the project in, and she failed to do so. I have received no compensation for the breaches in our agreement and contract. When I attempt to contact her she either ignores me or makes a new excuse as to why she can’t give me a partial refund or mail me the painting. The invitations arrived to me 1.5 months late after I had to repeatedly ask for them. There was more stationary she was supposed to design as well. Luckily I had not paid for that yet, as it would not have been done before the date discussed.

    The supporting documents attached show our signed contract completed in September 2023, proving she had ample time to complete the project within the discussed deadline. I was supposed to receive the invites July 2024, but they arrived Sept 2024. (Thank you cards, envelopes, pet portrait, and bar signs were not yet paid for so not completed). However, I have paid for the original water color and still have not received it despite my requests.

    Hi-The client and I have had discussions about her experience, and she will be receiving her original artwork soon as requested. We are resolving this situation privately. She did tell me that she did not intend for this communication to be avalible to the public, and was simply trying to get in touch with me. We have been in touch over the last week.  Merryn Williams

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
