Business employee came on my property and those of my neighbors and placed termite monitors on our front lawn. There are “no solicitation” signs posted at the entrance to our development. When HOA management confronted employee he stated he was asked by builder to place monitors but provided no contract when asked. Repeatedly called company asking them to remove monitor with no response ( three times).

Good Afternoon, we work for the builders, ****** ***** and **** ***** in that subdivision and completed the termite treatment on the home and most of the homes within the community. The termite monitors that were installed are on small stakes pressed into the lawn and it is included to the homeowner at no cost as it's part of their termite warranty on behalf of the builder, which is required by our states law and construction codes. We have since sent an employee out and removed the monitors for Mr. *****. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The termite monitors were removed from my property as requested.  When the employee was approached by HOA management, while on site in the development, this was not the explanation given to that individual, but rather that the builder had requested they be placed on individual properties and provided no contract when asked.  **** *****, the builder, left the development over a year ago. Upon receiving this response from the HOA individual, I assumed it was another unrequested solicitation.  After calling the company three times, asking that the monitors be removed, and receiving no valid explanation as to why someone placed these monitors on my property, I filed a complaint with ***.  I now consider this matter resolved, but in the future, the vendor should explain to homeowners what they are doing and why before placing items on individual properties.  There was no explanation given and the fact that many unwanted solicitations occur throughout this development, though it is clearly posted at the neighborhood entrance, I assumed it was another.

Thank you for obtaining a resolution to this matter.

    Sincerely,

    ******* *****
