    While we received excellent care from the nurses and doctors, their billing practices require significant improvements to approach "best practice" standards. We never received a bill from them until a collection agency letter arrived. Upon inquiry, they claimed to have mailed the bill to our address, but they had a note that it was returned as "return to sender." They did not attempt to contact us via phone or email, and we assumed the bill was still being processed through insurance. Despite our address not working for the allergy and asthma center, the collection agency successfully contacted us on their first attempt at the same mailing address. When we called the office to resolve the issue, they informed us that nothing could be done since it had already been sent to the collection agency. They explained that they only mail bills, and if they go unpaid, they are directly forwarded to a collection agency and that they make no other form of outreach.The collection agency was accommodating and walked me through how to dispute the bill. However, given the short grace ****** before it impacted our credit score, we decided to pay the bill, including the collection agency's fee, to resolve the matter quickly. This experience mirrors a similar incident noted on their ****** reviews page from a few years ago. This is a cautionary note to others to proactively follow up on your bills to avoid a similar situation as you cannot rely on them to make you aware.
