    My tenant, *******************, stated that the AC for the condo at **** ******* ** unit *** Vienna Va *****, was out on 8/22/22. I called Consumer's Choice Inc to examine the issue based on a referral to by the ****** ***** Condo Association. The AC unit was replaced on 8/23/22 and immediately after they left, the tenant sent a text with a picture of a brand new scratch in the wood flooring near the thermostat. When I contacted the AC company on 8/24/22, they stated that they used a drop cloth where the scratch was identified. I spoke to John C***** and he said his manager would examine the unit on 8/26/22 (Friday). They neglected to show for the appointment on 8/26/22. When I called the AC company to inquire, they rescheduled his manager for Friday 9/2/22. Upon examination of the scratch, the manager told Lucas it must have been there prior to the AC replacement.     To Whom It May Concern,

    I am writing in response to complaint #********, which I am hearing about for the first time. After reviewing my emails from August and September 2022, I could not find any correspondence related to this issue. However, I do have an email from Ms. ******* ****** dated July 8, 2022, regarding our registration with the BBB.

    In response to the complaint, I spoke with the manager and the technician who serviced the customer. They both recall visiting the job site on September 2, 2022, to meet with the tenant and assess the reported scratch. The technician confirmed that drop cloths were laid down as required by our company policy, and the scratch was located well away from the area where we performed the installation.

    Additionally, my manager and the tenant attempted to contact the owner, Ms. ******** by phone from the job site but were unable to reach her. Unfortunately, we did not receive any follow-up communication.
