    According to the Firefly General Terms of Service, by requesting **************** the property owner is granting Firefly a perpetual easement on and through the customers property and premises without prior notice or permission to do anything even if the customer ceases service. When called in reference to this ****** broad agreement, Firefly responded by saying that they did not have a legal team and the Terms of Service was take it or leave it.This broad easement would allow Firefly to erect poles or a tower in your yard, Route cables under your house, dig through your crop field, or anything else they choose. Essentially, they become a quasi property owner with the customer - forever.

    Firefly internet is great, and we had no issues with it. Firefly customer service has tanked every kind of positive regard I had for them. They have made countless errors canceling my service, doctored my customer notes to blame me, changed dates of my phone calls and requests, deleted records of phone calls, covered up their errors, and have charged me for service after the fact. I worked with them patiently to help them recover their equipment after their originally admitted system error, and now they are asking me to wait for a $0 after all of this. There is no way to trust a company after all of this, even if their service is good.

    This customer's account is accurately reflecting a zero balance. We have confirmed her equipment has been returned and no amounts are due. This is shown correctly on the May 1, 2024 invoice.

    I would not negate anyone else's experience, but want to provide my very different perspective.We did wait longer than expected for FireFly to come into our rural neighborhood. Once here however, technicians showed up on date/time scheduled, very respectful of our home, and did a clean job with install to our requests.We moved from ADSL Brightspeed, so our standard was low- but the improvement in speed and phone quality has been incredible (as promised.)One technician walked be through the advantages of simply getting a newer *** to sustain VOIP in power outage as compared to the older option from FireFly. Also took time to assess our usage and explained that 100Mbps might be adequate (and cheaper) for us if we wanted to start with that. (We opted for Gigabyte because we both video conference and I sometimes need quick uploads of big files for team work.)But the point is that this did feel like a member-centered coop that was not trying to just sell.We are three months in and have no complaints.(************, ********)

    After waiting two weeks to hear from FireFly, ( I signed up online), I called their office. The person anwering stated they did not plan to install lines in my area (***********) until next year sometime. I expressed a fair number of Beam customers are losing our service in November 2022 and this was unfortunate. She proceeded to explain they would not be installing the lines anytime soon and continued to state the same over and over. I finally broke the circle of her conversation by stating, "okay, so I understand and we will need to find another service to bridge our gap". Before I could say thank you for your time, she hung up on me. Simply writing this review for anyone considering Firefly Internet so they can be aware of the (lack of ) friendly customer service they may receive in the future.
