My daughter whom is 13 years old (stays with her grandma temporary) was taken to the er department by her grandmom. I called and gave my information and let them know i am her mother! They didnt call me or etc for anything about
My child i had to call if i didnt they would have done anything or accepted anything her grandmother said thinking she is the mother. The nurse said she would call me back with results and i didnt. Hear back so i called this morning! When i called the nurses desk a lady nurse picked up and i asked her about my daughter results because nobody called me back there so told me to call the other place that she was being transferred to and to ask them. Then she said she is 18 so i cant give information. My daughter is 13 she didnt check to see whom my daughter is and mixed my child

I visited the ER at ********* general hospital on Thursday Dec. 7th, 2023. The long wait was an issue but not nearly as much as the quality of service that I received and the quality of service I witnessed others receive. There was a patient literally laid over in the wheelchair with her head between her knees for 2 hours moaning, I expressed my concerns to two different employees (1 an RN) that I was very afraid she was going to fall out of her chair onto her head and the patient was there all alone. I was told "we're busy and we'll get to it". Within 40 minutes, this patient fell out of her chair onto her face and laid on the ground for approximately 12 minutes before someone from the back came to get her up. When they did, they yelled at her and said, Ma'am, you are going to have to help me because I cannot get you up by myself. The patient was not responsive. At that point, I asked for my IV to be removed (which I have been sitting with in the waiting room with a fever of 103.4 and an empty IV bag for 4 1/2 hours. I was sent to ER by my doctor because I had just been released from the hospital on December 3rd and told to come back right away if my fever came back). There was no where for sick patients like myself or the girl who couldn't sit up to lay down or even have a recliner to lay back in. I could not believe the lack of compassion and humanity shown to this person and to several other patients there as well. When I first arrived it was before the 7:00p.m. shift change and first shift was on top of things, polite, compassionate and working diligently. As soon as 7:00 p.m. came, it was like being in another world. Absolutely unacceptable for anyone to be treated that way. I realize that everyone who visits the emergency room is probably sick, however people that cannot sit up in a straight back chair (especially for 6 to 9 hours) should be recognized. There was no rhyme or reason as to how or what order anyone was being helped.
