    my rear end was going out in my mustang so I called a mobile mechanic Starks auto, he came out to my house gave me a quote to replace my ring and pinion in my mustang I said ok let's do it so he would come out several times and while he was here he would cuss his partner who was only trying to guide him in the right direction because his partner was the only person in this team with common sense, not to mention he was cussing his partner infront of my kids. So once he got the ring and pinion out he would then take it to **** over at ***** automotive to get him to press off my old pinion bearing and press the new one on and the mechanic there told him if he doesn't know what he's doing then he shouldn't be doing it. Travis at sharks auto didn't listen to him and attempted to do the job anyway, his partner tried and tried to get in there and do the job the right way and he would then only be cussed out and threatened by Travis, well when he said he was done and I took the car down the road for a test drive the car sounded like a space ship or airplane I let him know the sound it was making and he advised me it was normal because it was a new ring and pinion.. so a week later I was driving it and heard a clunking noise when I used the brakes, so Travis told me to take it to ***** automotive and get them to tighten my pinion nut, so I did.I got there and the car was looked at my whole drive shalft could be moved by hand, and I was told the spacer that was on my old pinion wasn't taken off and put onto the new pinion and now the ring and pinion wasn't sitting right in the car and this mechanic said the whole rear end would have to be redone again, so Travis at starks automotive was contacted and told and swore up and down he did it right and wasn't responsible for the redo of the rear end, and his partner then came to the shop I was at and spoke with me and the mechanic at ***** auto and agreed that Travis needs to give my money back and make things right

    Since you have removed the dispute with **** App we will send ***** the money for the repair.   It may take a few weeks to get him all the money.  ***** will make the repair once the full amount is received.

    I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    I have given starks automotive 3 mo to pay for the repairs and he has blocked me from contacting him, and has verbally threatened me over text that if I keep contacting them through text he will press charges on me because I want my car back, it is my main car that I drive for work and need this car back as I am starting a new job soon. And that's not to say that the brand new parts I paid for aren't ruined because he didn't know what he was doing. I have also hired a lawyer and to which he said if I take him to court he will take a very long time to pay if I did that.  So I would like Mr stark to pay my 490$ back and pay for new parts if they have been bamaged because of his mistake, thank you very much for your time and trying to make things right, I am asking for 2 weeks to pay for the repairs

    As have I been verbally and physically threatened. At this point the repair will not be paid for as there was no warranty provided due to the fact that the customer insisted on using their own parts. This issue is closed and resolved at this point. Due to the fact that there is no warranty provided and Starks auto has indured countless threats and harassment there will be no services provided for this matter. Thank you and have a blessed day

    I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed .I Keep getting contacted by the person who currently has my car about when will be paid for and I contact starks auto to see when it will be paid and mentioned that I would be contacting the bbb again to let them know it hasn't been paid as of yet, and I also have witnesses as to it was never agrees apon that no warranty would be given actually the opposite was said. Here are conversations where he never once speaks of no warranty being given, if that was the case he would have said it in our condos, and a warranty is not on the parts, it's the work that was performed that is under warranty I bought the parts you all told me to purchase I also have pictures of that as well, of starks auto telling me the parts to purchase. And from what I've heard starks auto has done this to other people as well, and it needs to stop you take people's money and refuse to give them back when you mess up and don't do the job completely, it's not right! I'm a single mother of 2 kids, I need my car to start work in march.

    What you fail to realize not once did you say this to me but you agreed to do the work knowing good and well that I had the ring and pinion already even before I called you, and not once did you say anything about having my own parts.. lol and the only parts I had was just a ring and pinion, and also what you fail to see is that you took my 490$ and you didn't do the job I paid you to do and because you didn't do it right the brand new parts I had for my car could be ruined, I'm asking for my 490$ that I paid you to do the job and any parts that may be ruined due to the lack of you knowing what you were doing and I also have all conversations since the time I met you recorded, even the part where you told me that there was a warranty.  You forget that don't you travis.. lol plus in all of our conversations you not once mention no warranty and even say that you were going to pay for the mistake you made.. plus I got **** saying where you messed up and you need to fix this situation.. lol ?? you've been telling me since Nov you would pay to have my rear end re done because you didn't know what you were doing and was told by **** that you need not to be touching if you didn't know what you were doing.. and here in these pictures you are suggesting other parts for me to replace.. hmm but I brought my own parts? Seems to me you told me to buy them.. lol you can't just take 490$ from someone and not do the job..js just give me my money back! And of this keeps going you will also be charged storage fee for the car being there so long too 4mo is long enough.. got one more picture for ya travis.. last picture you even say you were going to oay for it to be fixed, but if there was no warranty for one part then why didn't you say it here? You will mot win this in court.. I hate to tell you that but you cannot just take someone's money and not do the job.. that's theft! So I authorized **** to go ahead and do the repair so whatever I'm charged will also be added to the 490$ that you already owe me.. take care travis yes I will see you in court with all of my witnesses.. stay blessed travy
