Terrific value. Delivery and set-up just as easily as they said. I shopped it against ramps and other lifts and it was half the price. I've used it for 3 years now outdoors in the difficult New England weather without problems. I recommend having it wired directly rather than plug into old home electric service. The service people have been highly responsive on the few occasions I have spoken to them.Affordable Lifts

Affordable Lifts was the perfect solution for me. I suddenly became handicapped and unable to enter my home because of not being able to use steps. After searching the internet thoroughly, we found Affordable Lifts. After browsing their website, we were contacted by sales rep, Gayle ****. He was a tremendous help in choosing the right lift and getting us set up for delivery. My husband and son prepared the area for it and assembled it when it came without a problem. When they had a question, they left a message and had it answered quickly. We purchased it in June and have never had a problem with it. It's 20 degrees with snow here, and it has worked perfectly. We are completely satisfied with the lift and the company.Affordable Lifts

Thank you all for an incredible experience with our lift. From first finding your website and soon after talking with Gale, to the call talking with Mark from support regarding a minor installation question, every interaction with your company has been ideal.
Viviana scheduling my pickup was pleasant and helpful, Jonathan and the others at the loading dock were as well.

2 starsI purchased my lift from AWL in December of 2019. Since then, the "safety" device has failed and has been replaced 4 times. The entire head unit including winch was replaced this year as the original failed. AWL took all my installation location measurements, height requirement, and usage into account when they created the first package for me. It was around $4500. Recently, AWL owner, Kerry Murphy, claimed that the safety devices I've been using for three years aren't suitable for my use. He stated he knew this as early as late 2019. They sold me the second head unit for $1300 with full knowledge the anti fall safety device was not sufficient for my use. Murphy went on to suggest I made a mistake in the original plans - no mistakes were made. Further, the new head unit came equipped with a ****** ******** ******** brand winch #*****. This WINCH - not HOIST comes with a manual (if you buy it at ****** ******* - AWL will not supply you a manual) that clearly states in no uncertain terms, teh winch is for HORIZONTAL loads only. It is not made for lifting overhead loads and is never to be used for lifting people. This winch is not safe for use. Combined with an insufficient fall arrester and you have an unusable product. I have asked for a refund of teh second unit only and AWL have refused to respond. ****** ******* has been notified and are not happy their product is being put to such a use and sold to unsuspecting customers. I gave two stars because there is a need for affordable lifts and I think the carriage is an OK design. There is also one employee there, Jonathan, who is exceptional at customer service. It's just too bad the company owners have no idea how to treat people.
