I purchased a vehicle on 8/23/24 and within 2 months I’ve had to do a 4 wheel alignment, replace tires and issues with the brakes/calibers and now replace wheel bearings and hubs. I did buy the truck as is but the way the brakes and calibers look when I took them to the be replaced was completely worn and they should not have passed a state inspection that was supposedly done in July 2024. I’ve had to pay for towing due to the vehicle not being drivable and the best response I’ve gotten from the dealership was to bring the truck to them, which I couldn’t do and that the truck passed inspection because their top mechanic did it even after I explained the condition of the brakes and calibers and refused to accept that it wasn’t done correctly or overlooked. I was then over talked in a conversation after being asked what my issues were and when I got upset and my voiced raised to speak over the person who was talking over me, I was hung up on.

    Business Response

Case # ********1st Choice Motors In response to the above referenced complaint, we deny any wrongdoing in this matter. We have started a program where we sell less expensive cars that have passed state inspection, "as-is", to make them more affordable to the public.  In this instance, ******** took the vehicle to a private mechanic with complaints of issues. If she would have brought it to us, we would have been glad to try and help. We tell all customers that purchase these cars "if they have issues come back and see us". We have helped in several instances , even though they know they are buying an "as-is" vehicle. Even though we claim no wrong doing, If ******** will send you the receipts for the work she had done and they are legitimate, I will reimburse her $500 "Goodwill" towards the repairs. Thank You ! Chris MabryPresident
