On 12/13/2023, I signed a contract with Skyfall Exteriors for a new roof due to storm damage on my one level townhouse unit in the amount of $16,441.07. The roof was installed 1/11/2024. The subcontracted unskilled, untrained workers installed defective materials which breached the contract. They damaged my gutters, vinyl siding, A/C unit, dormers, and sprayed tar and grease from my gutters all over my siding, patio furniture, windows, etc. I developed leaks in the ceilings in 4 more rooms. I hired M&D ********************* to inspect the work. I paid $235 for the inspection. ******************* was appalled . Shingles were not installed properly, j-channel broken, broken ridge cap installed, 20 year old shingles still remained, etc. Skyfall refused to refund my deposit. On 1/24/2024, I signed another contract with Skyfall to gut and redo the roof, replace all gutters, gutter covers, and paint the ceilings in the 4 rooms which sustained water damage plus paint the office according to the insurance specifications. The 2nd roof was installed 3/4-5/2024. I hired **** Group to inspect the roof and paid $650. Multiple building code violations were found. Shingles were not installed according to ***** Corning requirements, no fire ******ant material was installed between townhouse units, code upgrade drip edge not installed, defective shingles, nails protruding, and on and on. Another leak developed in my bedroom after a rainstorm. I paid $350 to have the vinyl siding power washed using a degreaser which did not completely remove all the tar stains. Skyfall sent in-house workers to paint the office. They failed to adhere to the insurance documents which stated to paint walls and ceiling using 1 coat of sealer and 2 coats of paint. They sprinkled paint all over my bookcases, wiring, desk, printer, etc. They dabbed paint here and there and only applied 1 coat of paint missing lots of areas. They violated the insurance documents. I demand $5435 be refunded to me.
